crashing
POSTED ON 12/13/14
When my game crashes I first suspect viruses and trojans and run my AV/malware scanners. I check to see if something did an autoupdate that might have an effect on the game. I check to see if the ts3w.exe file is still on my computer's DEP list. I open the computer to see if the fans need to be cleaned. Then I rename my sims 3 folder and see if the game plays okay with nothing in it and a fresh start as the games do tend to get corrupt over time. A friend told me she never uses save. She always uses save as so each save is fresh and can not corrupt the one before it. Just keep deleting the older saves when you start up, but keep one or two of the most recent saves for each world your are playing. Have a sims 3 folder that only has the store stuff freshly installed and keep it on your desktop or flash drive or even in your EA folder with the name sims3fresh. Everytime you have problems, you can make a copy of the folder and start from that point rather than reinstalling everything.
