So the latest new marketing deal for the EA Store is to get more people to buy Sim Points who have never bought a bundle before and the incentive are two new 2-item sets.  Sigh...the Divalicious Set has a gorgeous dress, the QB n Cheerleader outfit is cute.  Of course my obsession with having it \"ALL\" or getting as much stuff as I can for my Sims is making me want these two sets soooo much!

Wonder if the maintenance went well?  Er-rm...I can\'t see any pic\'s for the featured sets!  Hm-mm, maybe shouldn\'t purchase any gifts yet.  Yeah I think I\'ll wait for a bit.

I guess Barnacle Bay should be put up tomorrow, it will be the first day of Fall tomorrow.  Isn\'t that when it was supposed to be out? 

it will be two years ago since my sister passed away.  Most days, it still seems surreal.  I miss her everyday and cannot believe she has been gone for so long.  It\'s weird about time, it feels like yesterday and yet it feels like forever that I have not seen or talked to her.

Before this site was officially up and running they let us preview the story maker tools.  I made a story using their film clips and somehow it ended up being a dedication to my Sis.  It was very cathartic to make and I actually was obsessed with getting it done and worked on it for hours that took me late into the night/early morning of the next day.  It\'s called \"The Fisherman\" and it makes me cry every time I watch it.  I was so afraid they would cull it out of my studio because it didn\'t get many views or recs.  It\'s my only film/story on this site and I hope it never gets culled.

I was really busy today and didn\'t have a lot of time to think about what today was, but since I got home...it\'s all I\'ve thought about.  I thought maybe the forum would distract me, but it\'s not really helping.  So I think I will just go mindlessly watch some TV.

I love you Sis and miss you so much.

So I\'ve been giving out some random recs today from my friends list, I know it\'s not a gift, but I\'m hoping people appreciate the recs too.  However, some studios are larger than others and Blue Murder your studio is quite large, but I am determined to rec all your stuff it\'s just gonna take me awhile.

I haven\'t really played my game much, but I have been fooling around in CAS trying to make some new Sims to play in Late Night.  I also want to make some scary/horror Sims since Halloween is coming, but then Late Night will probably inundate the exchange with vampire Sims.  Ahhh well, when I get something decent I\'ll upload to the exchange.  Sigh...I\'m trying to get better at making Sims, but I look at some of the Sims on the exchange and think there are some very talented people out there and don\'t know if I\'ll ever be any good at making Sims.

Yeah that\'s all I\'m getting when I try to see read a thread.  I tried FireFox and IE and I get the same results, white page.  So I guess I won\'t bother with the forum today since I can\'t read anything.

Yeah I was out all day running errands so I stopped and picked up Fast Lane at Best Buy.  I was at Target early in the morning, but they didn\'t have the game out on the shelves even though they advertised in the sale papers that they would have it in the store today.  I didn\'t bother to ask anyone if they had it yet, because last time I asked them about Sims they just said to come back later, so yeah they can be pretty indifferent about helping you out.  Best Buy is across the street from them so I didn\'t have to go far.  I was just hoping to get my shopping done all in one place.

I haven\'t installed it yet, I need to save a copy of some of the games I don\'t want to lose.  Maybe later tonight I\'ll install it and cross my fingers it doesn\'t create the trouble that HEL\'s caused me.

So I was playing my game last night and I have been trying to get my Sim to woo Tragic clown out of his grave.    I haven\'t played Sunset Valley since before HEL\'s, cuz it caused me all kinds of sad troubles.  Ambitions sorta fixed it, I can play Sunset Valley again, but it has a tendency to crash randomly.  Like last night!  Sigh...and I just got my Sim to be friends with Tragic.  She spent all her days off at the graveyard trying to meet him.  For some reason all the ghosts come out and then get in their cars/taxis and drive away from the cemetery.  Don\'t know why they won\'t hang around??!!  The first day she was there Tragic came out, but she couldn\'t talk to him he just floated off and left with the other ghosts.  So after that he never came back out til last night.  I was so happy she was able to pick up his grave and  a couple of Sim days later she got the \"Oh My Ghost\" opportunity so she went to the Science Facility and he became a playable ghost.  So yeah I was so thrilled to have him there, then realized after a couple of Sim days...dun dun dun, Gasp I forgot to save!!!  So I tried to save and it was going well, then boooom, POW...CRASH..., cries.

Tragic was the first game I ever played when I got the base game, but after all the patches, it was too glitchy to play.  So I deleted it.  I decided to try him out again because someone said he had ugly babies, but I never found out if his babies were ugly.  His kids were still newborn and toddler and I didn\'t think they were that ugly so I wanted to check him out again and let his kids age up to teen, which will be a first for me in a non-challenge game, LOL.  I guess I\'ll have to try again today.

Just wanted to say, today is a gorgeous day!!!  It\'s only going to get to the mid 60\'s and it\'s breezy and cool!  I love this kind of day.  So should make for a good Simming Day.  I don\'t have any plans for today, but will be gone the rest of the Holiday weekend.  So I\'m going to enjoy my Simming and try to remember to save OFTEN.
