\r\nThe UPS guy came for my laptop, its going a long way away, and I mean a long way, Germany! No idea why it has to go that far, could have sworn Fujitsu Siemsn has an UK base, but aparently not.
\r\nWell least the wheels are set in motion, so to speak! I\'m missing Sims 3 sooo much, I keep dreaming about playing it. I really am obsessed, this reminds me of the time when I had my A-levels and I stopped myself simming so I\'d revise and therefore pass my exams, but least that time it was voluntary, the decision\'s been taken out of my hands, and there\'s no exams or anything to distract me. The only thing distracting me at the moment are the Wicca books, but I\'m reading them a little too quickly, I\'m already half way through the 10th book, and there\'s only 14 in the series.

\r\nFeel soooo tired today, and don\'t know why could be because I drank last night who knows lol, the barbeque was fun though helped take my mind off The Sims 3. 2 days until they come for my laptop I hope they don\'t have it for too long, I soooooo want to sim! I\'m even tempted to see if this laptop can run it, the card in this, the nvidia GeForce Go 6100 had problems with sims 2 though, used to blue screen on me, unless I turned shaders off so I\'m thinking it might blue screen with The Sims 3. I\'m too much of a wimp to try it because what if it damages the laptop then I\'m stuck with no way to get on msn, and I can\'t live without msn lol, plus my brother will kill me, he uses this to talk to people in different timezones the same as me lol
\r\nTheSimMan has uploaded a vid to youtube asking people to please support him, and saying thanks to people who have, see the vid here. He\'s upto 264 supporters now, but still fourth, intrigued to know how many supporters the person who\'s third has got.

\r\nWell they\'re coming for my laptop Tuesday to get it fixed, and until then and until it comes back I\'ll be on my old laptop/Roger\'s laptop - not sure if this can run the game, kind of scared to try I mean what if it decides to overheat but as least this laptop would have an excuse as it is at least 3 years old.

\r\nWell it\'s been wiped, its practically empty apart from Sims 3, Xfire, msn and the updates it wanted to put in, and it\'s having a heart attack, or rather burning up. It runs sims ok but it jumps into the 70s especially when I quit it, but if I put xfire, Sims and my HD 3650 card, get ready for 80C time again, so I\'m annoyed to put it mildly!!
\r\nIt shouldnt be doing that, I meet the requirements for the game according to www.canyourunit.com but I\'m sure it\'s the laptop at fault, when it loads up with nothing running but msn, it\'s idling at 45C, and it should be a lot lower, once I load the net it\'s in the 50C\'s, which is definitely not right. Even typing this its at 68C with only msn running, seems I\'ll be back on my old laptop for a while. Looking at the gadget thing that you can get for your desktop, it\'s showing core 2 is under the most stress, so I\'m thinking maybe the fan\'s blew out or something, it\'s not making sense.

\r\nMy laptop will be wiped tomorrow, letting it cool down now, I\'m on my old laptop at the moment writing this, I had gave this laptop to my brother to use, but he\'s been nice enough to let me use it when I wish, so thanks Roger :-D
\r\nMy sims are all saved on my external hard drive, and all my other stuff, but who knows when I\'ll get to sim again, I doubt this laptop could run it, and I think I can wait until my laptop can run it safely, well I hope I can.
\r\nThe TV is taunting me, if I see The Sims 3 advert one more time I may scream, I want to play with Jason my kleptomaniac, and Chloe & Jared\'s baby was about to turn into a toddler - grr at my laptop! Oh well theyre saved so I can get back to where I left off when I reboot my laptop, but only if it stops overheating, if it keeps doing it even after rebooting, then I\'m going to have to send it away to be repaired :-( Which will mean no sims for a while, I\'m cursed with computers, been having problems with them since my first ever computer.

\r\nWell I\'m annoyed, my laptop\'s on its stand and still getting hot everytime I load the sims it gets very hot and I mean very hot, in the 80C area!! For some strange reason the ATi Radeon HD 3650 card makes my laptop get too hot, but it\'s hot now and all I have running is Spybot to see if spyware is taking up my CPU and the net, msn & xfire and I\'ve switched it to the HD 3200 card, so i\'m confused, I don\'t want to have to ring Fujitsu again the guy wasn\'t the nicest, but at least this time I can say i\'ve had it on a flat surface where air can circulate and it\'s still getting hot, only difference is now it\'s not burning my lap.
\r\nHumph, I want to sim but I don\'t want my laptop to get too hot, I\'m in a no win situation, my head hurts as well so tomorrow I\'m gonna make a back up of my laptop on my external drive and see what Fujitsu say and hope I get some nice person who actually understands, that other guy said they\'d charge me if the blocking of the vents was my problem! Grr at them! Googling the problem, seems a few Fujitsu Siemens owners are having the problem of overheating - so maybe it\'s just the make - which is annoying because I love this laptop and it\'s only a recent thing its started over-heating, since I changed to its supposed uber card and started playing The Sims 3. I swear when I first got the game it wasn\'t getting hot, so what\'s changed - hmmm may have to think about that. I just hope someone can shed some light on the problem.
\r\nWell I\'m gonna get back to watching the \"About a boy\" film on ITV2 and trying not to think what\'s wrong with my laptop *sigh*

\r\nJust got back in, went to see Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen, epic film seriously, I was gripped, and I didn\'t even notice it went on for 2 and a half hours :-)
\r\nSeems TheSimMan is back - yay!! I missed him and his updates, he\'s put some very funny pics up and an explanation to where he went, see them here.
\r\nI\'ve finally sorted out my overheating problem, rang Fujitsu Siemens, what a nice guy I got - not, just because I didn\'t know what a bios did he treated me like some kid who didn\'t know about computers - grr! Said I shouldn\'t be using it on soft furnishings and my lap, it\'s a laptop not a desk top - so why can\'t I use it on my lap?? :-S Well I tried his bios update and it didnt work, put a programme in, which he said nothing about, tried again and the update works - so ha to him lol! I\'ve also invested in a laptop stand, which means no more vents being blocked, it\'s made of glass and looks very cool and is at the perfect height, gotta love argos!
\r\nI haven\'t really simmed mainly because of the overheating but also because I\'m gripped in the Wicca series I\'m reading, I\'m already on the 6th book :-)

\r\nChecked TheSimMan\'s fan page, and he\'s fourth now, the ranks keep changing though, seems a really tough competition, so he\'s going to need all the supporters he can get, so please do keep supporting him :-)
\r\nChloe & Jared managed to tie the knot, bad timing on my part though, Chloe works in the medical career, and it said she wouldn\'t be needed until 7pm, so I booked the wedding party at the beach for 3 pm, thinking well that\'s plenty of time to tie the knot and then go to work. Ha - if only the Hospital was on the same page, they asked for her earlier, so I had the groom at the beach and no bride, great way for a party to start right? I got her out of work after an hour and thankfully she made it, but it said she was missing work, oh well, she looks beautiful here though, and quite a few guests showed up. After the marriage it was straight back to work though, nice pair of scrubs Chloe ;-) That night they had a proper celebration though and a little baby Hughes is on the way.
\r\nI\'ve now switched back to the Frio household, Lucy\'s over her mum\'s death, and is now an adult, time really flies in Sunset Valley, she\'s still got a crush on Jerimiah so I\'ve had her turn it into something more :-) Their first kiss got them off to a strong start and after a few flirts and hugs, I had no problems getting Lucy to propose to him. Next step will be to move him in, but not sure when that option comes up, I know how to move him in via Edit town but I don\'t think it will give her the lifetime points if I do it that way. She\'s developed some interesting traits while I haven\'t been playing with her like the mooch trait, you can have her mooch food or money off people and even rummage in their trash cans. Also when she proposed to Jerimiah because she\'s clumsy she dropped the ring first, which is very close attention to detail - so well done EA!

\r\nThe time came too soon for Madison to leave the Sims world, it came up with a pop-up so I switched to her, Jared & Lucy, only to see that Jared had died (he\'s the one whose grave has disappeared) and the next day Madison left poor Lucy on her own, here she is as a ghost. The funeral party (i.e. wake) went ok, Chloe cried on her cousin\'s shoulder and took comfort with an embrace with Jerimiah who she has a crush on. He held her while she cried. So I see a future for them two when I get around to playing them again :)
\r\nOn some happier news, Jared popped the question to Chloe and of course she said yes, so now they\'re engaged.
\r\nI went back to my Lovell family, and it was time for the toddlers to grow up, hehe I didn\'t have to deal with 5 troublesome toddlers. Their birthdays were quite uneventful apart from the fire, here all 5 of them are as kids out having a picnic at the park. They didn\'t eat much, I think because the ants put them off, don\'t blame them lol. Sean was the only one to sneak off home, because he hates the outdoors. Also at the park I caught a glimpse of TheSimMan\'s simself happily reading by the fountain.
\r\nUnfortunately back to sadness, Connor passed on at 103 days old, which must be some sort of record considering he never fuliflled him Lifetime Wish. He looks quite cool as a ghost. Grimmy decided to take the weight off his feet and read the paper afterwards, definitely not something you see everyday, here he is. Poor Chloe was lonely so she invited Jared around and they slept together for the first time.

\r\nWell it seems the game has some issues, by that I mean how it progresses, I left Mark with a relationship with this woman named Randi, and the game has also got him in a relationship with a woman who\'s 97 years old, when he\'s young, not sure why it\'s done that. Not only that it\'s got my simself pregnant where as I only have a boyfriend and I was living with some random guy, I\'ve since moved him out.
\r\nAlso my sim died when I was playing another family, and I can\'t find the grave, it\'s not under manage the dead, so not sure where it went, but other than that I love the game!!
\r\nRight i\'m off to play on the xbox, my bro\'s been nagging me to play, saying I\'m obsessed with Sims 3, as if :-P

\r\nBeen sorting my room out, or rather my bult in wardrobe - I keep too much clutter, I really do, but it\'s empty now apart from the clothes I do actually wear and some bedding, I should really have cleaned it before, but I never really thought to do so, I wish I was a sim, and all my clothes magically fitted in a small chest of drawers instead of requiring a wardrobe and quite a few chest of drawers. :-P
\r\nHaven\'t done a whole lot of simming, I did a bit then I went and sorted my room because I felt lazy just sat there simming, especially while Becca was working.
\r\nLast night before going to bed, Mary had her 5th child and more, she surprised me with twins, I guess I know the fertility thing definitely works, I named them Sean and Seth. So now she has 5 babies, and 1 child, which is a lot of work, which is probably why you won\'t be surprised to hear, I saved a copy of them, and turned aging back on, and went to my Gibson family to see how Connor was holding up. Turns out I didn\'t move her grave, so when night fell, Kayleigh come out to play. Did you know ghosts can sleep? Neither did I, but here she is sleeping. Then when morning came, she turned into mist and went back into her urn. So the ghosts have definitely improved. But as nice as Kayleigh\'s ghost is, I don\'t want her there every day, so Connor takes her to her final resting place here. Sooo cool how you can put graves in the graveyard without any menus needed just drag and drop.
\r\nWhile my sim was sleeping I had a look at the graveyard and they are quite active, tried this in Riverview and not so much, but Sunset Valley ghosts are, I saw the Tragic Clown and some other random ghost.
\r\nWell Connor is stubborn, he still hasn\'t died, not that I\'m complaining, I\'m just wondering why he hasn\'t left, maybe because I haven\'t fulfilled his Lifetime Wish yet, he managed to write a best seller, which is very impressive but not yet a Professional Author. It was Chloe\'s time to grow up, and she grew up ok, with the brave trait, because I didn\'t keep with her during school so her grades were only ok, but I had to deal with the Lovell babies, so oh well, she could have had a worse trait.
\r\nChecked TheSimMan\'s fan page, he\'s got plenty more supporters, so keep up the supporting, but he\'s going to need a lot more if he stands a chance of beating the fore-runner. So please please support him :-)

\r\nWent to Becca\'s, I actually got to see Sims 3 for the iPod Touch/iPhone in action, and I must say very impressive, you have mini games, so when the fridge broke, you had to drag to replace the broken parts with new ones, very cool, and when cooking shake the Touch gently side to side to cool the hot pans. Only bad thing is you get loading screens with the touch version.
\r\nThe friend who I showed The Sims 3 to on Teamviewer, has bought the game now - see I said it\'s addictive, she gave in, in the end lol.

\r\nThe laptop riser came, well I think I know why it only cost \u00A310, it\'s rubber, the base bit, and it doesn\'t stay flat easily, so it\'s going back, going to have to find something else to lift it up so the back vent is unblocked.
\r\nI did quite a bit of simming last night, was quite an eventful simming time, was playing my Lovell family and it came up saying that Kayleigh was going to die, so of course I switched back to the Gibson family, how could I not? I\'d started the game with her, here she is with Connor.
\r\nNot long after getting back from work, and heading to sleep, it was her time to \"expire\" as the game calls it, she looks all sparkly, see her here. A bright light and it was all over, Kayleigh is now a ghost, she does look cool there though. Connor & Chloe didn\'t take it so well, well you can\'t blame them can you really. Grimmy shook hands with Kayleigh which was a bit weird. I kind of left them there, because I was living on borrowed time with Mary so I changed back to the Lovell Household and Mary was a lot bigger, and only had 1 day until she became old :O thank god for aging off I say lol, I turned aging off, and she had the baby perfectly fine, see baby Gabriella here, see what I mean about bigger, I think she comfort ate through that pregnancy
\r\nI had Mary go for a little wander, and she found this place, which is quite an impressive place, the size of the mountains, it is quite literally breathtaking.
\r\nShe needed 5 kids, so it was baby time again, and the fertility treatment worked, she had twins, two boys named Troy & Tom, see them here, Mary\'s holding Tom, and Troy is asleep in the crib.
\r\nSo now one more kid and I can turn aging back on - hooray, but that will also mean Connor will die then :-( But least he won\'t be heart-broken anymore.

Bit of a slow day for simming, mainly because I thought I\'d be going out, instead going to do the food shopping tomorrow - oh the joy...not!
\r\nI have managed to do some, but my laptop is slightly worrying me, it keeps getting quite hot on the left hand side, so i\'m gonna get myself a laptop riser because when its lifted off the sofa, it\'s not hot, its because the sofa\'s blocking the vent thing, and this stand sticks to the middle of your laptop and rises it up at a slant, only \u00A310 as well, bargain lol.
\r\nI played my Hughes family again I\'m a bit addicted to them and Chloe, Mary Lovell came around as well, and they all had waffles together:

\r\nWell first off, Glasgow is more expensive than I thought to get to, and I have to have money for my holiday, so we\'re not going but going to sell them instead. I would have loved to go, but bad timing, Becca\'s working in the morning and it would take us like 4 hours to get up there, that\'s a lot of time, plus we\'d have to stay over, I mean staying over in Cov is ok cos I have a flat there for free, and a lot of people would be over for that concert, at this short notice I doubt we would have got a room.
\r\nWell I simmed again, still playing my Hughes family, other families progressing well, the Lovell\'s child is now a toddler, Mark\'s friends with Mary Lovell so I can spy :-P and Lucy Frio is now a child, love the story progression soooo much! :-)

\r\nDo you remember how Sims 2 sims could get busted if they were out after dark with a friend, and sometimes would come back in a cop car. Well something similar happens with Sims 3, apart from as you know you see where they are, Jared was at the park with Chloe, just chatting and it went after the curfew, I thought the chance of him being picked up were slim, turns out I was wrong, the police were waiting, there was a protest the other day did nothing but one kid out at the park on his way home and they do something :-P

\r\nI\'ve finally finished the Twilight Saga, held up by the Sims 3, I have no reading time with the game now, before I used to be able to fit a chapter in and then it would load, but now I barely manage to read 2 pages and it\'s loaded, so I read when they\'re asleep instead but sometimes I get tempted to be nosey and see what other sims are doing so I don\'t even read then lol. I\'ve started my Wicca series now though, which is another of my favourite series\', not many people have heard of it, it\'s by Cate Tiernan but the books are such a good read, they pull you in right until the very end :D I love them!

\r\nTheSimMan\'s still fourth even though he\'s got over 140 supporters, I really don\'t get it lol, well he\'s added a cute little story about a sim he played on his uncle\'s computer, it made me laugh, also love her top, he better upload it somewhere I want it lol :-P I didn\'t know there was an acting career either, but then again sooo much to explore lol :

\r\nTalking of which I found the collectables, I was playing Jared Hughes and saw something on the ground turns out it was an uncut ruby, I mean wow, there were quite a few, along with some space rocks, so he\'s got quite a collection, once they\'re in the inventory you have options like cut, which means that the stone gets put in the mailbox and the next day you get it back all shiny and cut where you can display it on a pillow or a stand. He also found an uncommon seed, so I\'m going to get him to plant it next time I play him.

\r\nI\'ve moved on from the Gibson family now to another family I\'ve created the Hughes Family, consisting of Mark & Jared, Jared is Mark\'s son, my plan is for Jared to fall for Chloe, I still love match making, so I\'ve moved them in next door to the Gibsons and had him go around for a visit:

\r\nHis father Mark also does not stop calling people, so his charisma is showing, very interesting how the traits are working :-D I love how they make their own friends, Kayleigh was always making friends at work, and out and about, they do it of their own accord, which is great, and you don\'t get those annoying \"Have aliens kidnapped you?\" calls instead a pop up says you\'ve lost someone as a friend and when you call them, surprisingly they are actually in :-P
\r\nI\'m wondering if I set Jared & Chloe up with each other, as in get them to girlfriend/boyfriend status at least and then move to another family, would they do the rest themselves? I may just have to try it to see.

\r\nWow story progression is great, babies can be added to families, one\'s been added to the O\'Donell family which is a bit weird because they\'re old, but then again maybe the woman popped one out and then turned old, like Madison, but what is cool is the Lovell family, the ones I made, and added to my Gibson family save, have had a baby on their own, now that is cool, I wonder if the game will give her 4 more so she can fulfil her lifetime wish, or if it will just stop at 1, i\'m intrigued :-D

\r\nI played my Kleptomaniac in Riverview as well, he\'s quite fun, he threw a wish to see a ghost, so off we went to the graveyard, sat there, no ghosts came, so I got bored and started clicking, said he could swipe something, so he did, he stole a bench, so I clicked \"swipe something\" again just to see what he\'d steal expecting him to go for flowers and he stole a grave stone :-O So not sure if he can return the grave stone like the bench via a mailbox, or if he has to go back to the scene of the crime?

\r\nI don\'t know what it is, but I keep waking up at practically the same time every day without an alarm clock, almost like I\'m a sim, and my master crosses off sleep every day around about the 9 am mark, freaky lol.

While playing him I saw the \"swipe\" action while he was by the Bistro in Riverview, but it was grayed out because someone was watching, so going to have him go back late at night and steal, because I\'m intrigued how it works. He threw up the want to see a ghost, so they\'re having lunch now, then off to the graveyard, lets see if he\'s secretly got the coward trait :-P

\r\nWell Sims 3 is certainly addictive, Becca kidnapped her brother\'s iPod Touch for like an hour and was playing Sims 3 on it, she made a friend, had fun fishing and cooking, when you fish on the iPod Touch you actually get to do the action, because as you may or may not know the Touch is motion senssitive - very cool lol, while she was simming I was showing a friend of mine the game on Remote Assistance - got to love MSN lol, she\'s now very tempted to buy it :-D She hadn\'t made her mind up about it before. I know its very addictive though because Becca didn\'t complain that I wasn\'t talkin to her, she went Idle and was gripped in the game, doesn\'t happen often to non-simmers lol :-P
\r\nThe battery ran out on the iPod, and back she came lol, anyways I\'m off to bed now, sooooooo tired, it\'s half 11 and i\'ve been up since 6 am - so that\'s quite a few hours of a day - so night night :)

\r\nWell I bit the bullet so to speak and split the Frio household up, its a lot harder to do than I first thought, first of all when you split up an active one, did you know it gives the other family no money to use? Even though Jared earns quite a bit through his job, very annoying. There\'s also a kick out option, quite funny:

\r\nWell I tried the kick out option, and couldn\'t find my family, looked everywhere, it said some random lot, well I couldn\'t find them, I may be dense though because I placed the house I wanted them to live in twice, because I couldn\'t find where I first placed it, anyways I exited without saving, and tried the edit town option, you have to change the active household and chose another, but then you can safely split up the household, and I found the clipboard!! I wondered where it was, and it\'s there when you split up a none active household:

\r\nI then used the fabulous \"FreeRealEstate\" cheat so they could afford it, I love that cheat lol, it\'s even better than Family Funds for the Sims 2. Then I simply switched back to the Gibson (was Frio) household and everything\'s as I want it :-D
\r\nI of course made a backup before doing it, force of habit I assume lol, I was always making backups of my Sims 2 custom neighbourhood, but it does mean if I don\'t like what they do, I can always go back, not that I will, Jared & Kayleigh\'s relationship was bugging me, they\'re better separate.

\r\nWow it\'s early here, 8 am early lol :-P, been up since 6 though :-O
\r\nJust woke up and then couldn\'t get back to sleep because I was froze, I want the sun back!!! So much for summer, but then again this is England, I suppose the sun staying out and keeping us in the twenty degrees celsius zone was too much to ask for, hopefully it will be back though.
\r\nAnyways I would like to say thanks to anyone who went to the link in my blog from yesterday and supported TheSimMan, much appreciated, I\'m sure he apprciates it also :-D
\r\nI\'m simming at the moment, still playing with my Frio family, but I\'ve recently edited the town to add some families like my simself in the house I mentioned before and a couple who want kids. Now I\'m intrigued just how clever the game is, people have said that it can generate random kids, will it do that for my simself as she\'s family orientated, and will she remain single or will it generate a husband for me? I want to see, but then I don\'t lol, I don\'t like playing anyone who really exists, it\'s too weird, so I think I\'ll leave her to it. I could never play my simself in Sims 2 or any friends of myself even though I did create them in game, it works better if they\'re made up lol. The couple I\'m playing them in another save but I want to see if they\'ll have the same kids or if it will just leave them without kids even though the woman wishes for kids, I just hope it doesn\'t randomly delete any of my families, but least I have backups :-P

\r\nWow just took a trip down memory lane, I was posting TheSimMan\'s vid on every profile I have, which is a lot, I\'m everywhere :-P Some of which I hadn\'t been on for quite a few years, I should update them but can\'t be bothered to, everyone who knows me now is either a friend on facebook or MSN which is the main way to talk to me, oh and also Xfire, can\'t forget that lol. So I don\'t really need the other profiles, but I won\'t delete them because well they remind me of my past. For example the myspace one was full of pics taken on my last day of sixth form - which was many years ago and bring back lots of great memories, like how on the last day in business class Ms Neale left the room, and we dared our friend Fran to sit at her desk behind her laptop and took a pic - it was sooo funny, I remember the teacher walked in and was like \"Fran what are you doing?\" Thankfully when you\'re in sixth form, the teachers are more on the same level with you, so they take a joke well, well the business teachers did, they\'re the only teachers I really miss from High School. I can\'t believe so many years have passed by, reading TheSimMan\'s site made me think about when I first simmed and how long I have been simming. I remember in Sixth Form I used to bring my laptop in, which was new at the time with The Sims 2 and in my frees used to let my friends play it, I found out my one friend Kayleigh really liked the game, so there are closet simmers everywhere.
\r\nUnlike TheSimMan\'s memory (see his fan page: http://www.sims3fan.com.au/?thesimman ), the Sims box didn\'t try and trip me up :-P I found out about it through my friend Sarah, we were in our English class, she said had I heard of it, I hadn\'t, and back then I never had the internet, so I couldn\'t rush home and google it, I went to my Game store instead, which was called something like Electronic Boutique back then, and saw it there, and I pestered my mum & dad from that day on for quite a while until they bought it me lol, then I didn\'t stop until I had every expansion. I did meet quite a bit of resistance along the way, the usual \"you can\'t do school work & sim\" well you can and I did, when I passed all my year 6 SATs they had to admit I could balance both, so they gave in and let me play when I wanted to, and since then I\'ve barely stopped.
\r\nI do go through \"dry\" stages sometimes, where I load up the game and don\'t know what to do, but I\'m sure everyone\'s been there, but it hasn\'t happened with The Sims 3 yet lol, and I doubt it will for quite a while :-P
\r\nI think I\'ll always be a simmer lol, which is good, my mum & my brother joke that I\'ll be in an old people\'s home still simming, well I hope so lol :-)

\r\nOmg I nearly had a heart attack when my drive was in the red this morning, seems all my back ups, you know just in case I don\'t like how other families are turning out do take up a lot of room, and I mean a lot of room, so I\'ve had to shift yet again more stuff to my D drive, as well as the back up saves, so the only saves that are in, are the ones I play, I did have 10 saves, so they took up like 1 Gb of space which is a lot as my C drive is already under strain from my massive EA Games folder from Sims 2 and all my music, which I can\'t move unless I want to have to find every file again in iTunes and I don\'t lol.
\r\nAnyways Lucy is now a toddler, she\'s sooo cute:

\r\nWell it seems my simming habits haven\'t changed, I tried to play a pre-created family, and it don\'t work as well, something about how I have to create a sim to grow attached to them, it\'s why I was never bothered with pleasantview or any other EAxis made hoods, but it\'s different with sims 3 in one way, because they still progress without me, and I find that fascinating to watch :-D
\r\nI\'m still attached to my Frio family they\'ve progressed so far, I know I should move on but I don\'t want any of them to die, but I also want to see their kids grow up so they can carry on the next generation. It seems weirdly like sims 3 time progresses quicker but I think its just that it\'s more addictive, instead of it being an endless, watching their house activitiy, there\'s more stuff to break it up, like the opportunities and visting the neighbours which I think makes time go a lot quicker. I think I\'ll make a klepto next though, I want a turn on the evil side and see what they do, I\'ve only picked good traits so far.
\r\nThe house I mentioned in my last blog, by TheSimMan is an amazing build, hopefully he\'ll upload it soon so everyone else can enjoy it :-D

\r\nI may have converted someone to a sims 3 fan, Becca loved the game, especially messing around with the clothes, and she said they were more lifelike and I agree with her :-D
\r\nShe didn\'t seem like she wanted to play yesterday when we got back in, but it was like midnight so I thought she wasn\'t bothered, but when I loaded it this morning she came and had a look, and said when it comes down in price she\'ll get it. :-) I knew she\'d like it, it decided to lag though which was annoying but may have been due to having 10 tabbed internet pages open - oops lol.
\r\nI\'m off to sim in a bit, soooo much to do, I\'m thinking of maybe trying the Goth family, or the family with the cute little toddler from the intro bit if I can remember where they are.

\r\nUp early again, seems to be a pattern at the moment, I want to sim, but the game\'s kind of packed up sooo unfair lol, and I don\'t want to leave the disc in the drive because that tends to scratch them if you travel with a laptop with a disc in, so simming can wait until I get to Coventry :-D
\r\nCan\'t wait to see Take That - looking at footage on youtube, which Becca kept sending me, it does look an impressive show, there\'s a giant elephant they sing on at one point, so that should be entertaining. \r\nI was just about to play my simself when I realised I hadn\'t even changed the favourites, it had me with black as my favourite colour, I mean I wear black, but it\'s not my favourite colour, so I\'ve re-uplaoded her, plus I\'ve now changed her eyebrows to match her hair which they didn\'t before :P
\r\nI know I\'m picky but I wanted my simself to truly represent me lol, which she does now lol.
\r\nMadison had her baby, a baby girl called Lucy, fastest pregnancy ever - 2 days - I\'m sure it\'s meant to be longer but somehow the game compensated - now that is clever :-D Which means soon I\'ll be leaving them to their own devices I have a backup of them, so if anything does happen, i.e they get deleted I still have them :-D

\r\nI\'ve taken refuge in my room away from \"The Archers\", radio 4 soap thing my mum loves, and I\'d rather not listen to so here I am in my room about to load the sims 3. :-D
\r\nI\'m gonna play with my Frio family I think, Madison something or another, well now she\'s a Frio because she got it together with Jared, well she\'s pregnant but also two days away from becoming an elder, not sure how that will work, I\'ve made a copy just in case she grows old before having the baby, then I may have to try the testing thing to speed up her pregnancy because I want to leave Madison & Jared with a kid and see what they do when I go and play another household. Well testing does nothing for the baby, just an age transition option - not helpful, you can also change their traits - again not I wanted wheres Spawn and where\'s speed up pregnancy? I really wanted Madison to have the baby, but if I can\'t speed it up, how can she? Oh well.
\r\nI think this will be my last almost full day of simming, tomorrow I\'m off to a Take That live concert with my best friend Becca, which will take up a big chunk of my evening, but can\'t wait to see them!! But I may take the laptop with me, because the concert is in Coventry, where I go to Unversity, so we\'ll be staying over at my flat, and Becca\'s yet to experience Sims 3, so I may use that as my excuse to bring my laptop, because of course I\'m not that addicted that I can\'t last a day not playing *whistles innocently*

\r\nI found the \"Edit Town\" bit yesterday for the first time, I was wondering how you changed household now I know, I want to do it with my Frio family, but I don\'t want them to do stuff without me at the same time, yes I know I can\'t have it both ways, I also haven\'t figured out where the tray is though to pop families.
\r\nI built my first house yesterday in the game, finished it today, I may upload it, haven\'t decided yet, because well I\'m not that brilliant at landscaping, so it looks ok to me, but may not to everyone else. But people seem to like what I\'ve uploaded to my page so far, shockingly in fact, my bed\'s reached over 200 downloads so thanks to everyone who downloaded it and the other stuff on my page! It means a lot to me. :D
\r\nI really should get to making a story, but I\'m not keen on how you do it in the sims 3, you have to do it via the site, and each screenshot when you upload it to the site has to be named and its just so laborious, plus what I saw you have to write it in one sitting, I\'ll check for sure, but that\'s not that good for me, I like to write, stop and come back the next day and my legacy stories were something like 126 pictures long at least, could I do that in one sitting? I could be wrong though. I was wrong about the number of saves, I thought only 4 but nope I have 5 now, and it still lets me click \"new game\"
\r\nThere\'s only one bad thing with the game, I\'m not doing a lot else, so now I feel lazy, I wake up and I start simming, also I\'m not brilliant at conversations when simming, the house could probably fall down around me and I wouldn\'t know :P

\r\nI must say Sims 3 is an amazing game, EA just keep on amazing me, first they did it with Seasons, with the weather, and then with Apartment Life, but thats nothing compared to this game, it\'s so... well intelligent - I\'m amazed I really am, I lost track of a sim I sent them somewhere and never checked to see on them, and my sim made his own way back - now sims 2 sims wouldn\'t do that, they\'d curl up and die quite literally where they were, because there was no food available to them and they were tired. But not sims 3 sims, oh no they\'re much cleverer they go and find food, they can even eat raw ingredients from their inventory if they get that hungry - now it sounds like I neglect my sims doesn\'t it lol, but I don\'t I promise.
\r\nAbout Apartment Life, I see a lot of it in this game, how you can go and visit your neighbours and be nosey in their house, just be careful what you do, I had one sim whose hygiene was very low so I had her take a shower, well the owner wasn\'t happy to find a visitor using his shower - I was in hysterics of course. It\'s fun when they\'re embarassed I had the sims apologise and it smoothed it over a bit. Somehow managing the motives seems easier, I can\'t find a maxmotives cheat so I don\'t think there is one, but they\'re not as dependent on their needs as they once was, they just get grouchy if you don\'t let them eat enough or sleep, and get a moodlet, and their expression changes to a grumpy face, sooo funny once you see it. My one sim was flirty, well she liked a guy but unfortunately he was taken so her flirt was rejected and the face she pulled - I felt sorry for her, and of course she was embarassed again, so paper bag over head time, poor girl.
\r\nI still haven\'t got over the fact if you have more than one sim you can follow it everywhere, I mean how cool is that? Very cool is the answer, and the opportunties are sooo cool with work, dropping reports off to improve performance and writing interviews is a very clever idea, it no longer feels like oh look that sims not really at work, you actually feel like they are doing their job, if you change what they do when there it effects their performance as well, like chose work harder and be prepared for an over stressed sim to appear on the pavement once work is over, better find that sim some fun and fast or they may have a tantrum - actually not sure if they do throw a tantrum because I tend to quickly make them happy, but it might be interesting to see for any sadistic simmers out there :-P
\r\nWow I wrote a lot and I\'ve not even scratched the surface of the game - metaphorically speaking of course, there\'s still loads to do and learn, can\'t wait!!

\r\nWow I love it, I\'m addicted to CASt - it\'s so easy to do, I moved a sim into a pre-furnished home didn\'t like the colours so I went changing stuff, you\'ll see some on my page, well anyways back to the game,

\r\nIt\'s installing in as we speak, I was out voting on my way back from town, and my brother texted me saying it came, I asked him to the night before so I\'d know, anyways I jumped up into the air - mum looked at me as if I was mad lol, and I voted in record time :P
\r\nThe plumb-bob USB is soooo cool - it\'s shaped like a plumb-bob - well duh - and it has sims 3 stuff on it, and it\'s even comes up with \'The Sims3\' as it\'s name which is cool.
\r\nI also have two cars to download plus the neighbourhood, I wish it would go in quicker lol.
\r\nI got delayed as it was because my brother decided to run off with it so I had to chase him to get it back to install it - he\'s so childish sometimes lol :P
\r\nIt came in a massive box so I\'m glad I had my brother stay in, no way would that have fitted through the letter-box!

\r\nIts still not here, but least now it says despatched, I\'m in shock though normally game go straight from picked to despatch but the one time I think they will, they don\'t! Grr at them lol!

\r\nI might have been a bit presumptious yesterday, it never came today and it still hasn\'t changed to despatched, I did a supply chain module and getting it from the picking stage to despatch doesn\'t take that much time, so what\'s taking so long!!? Ok I\'ll calm down, I can wait, I just wanted to come back today to find it waiting for me, but nope it wasn\'t but as I got back a lot later than I thought maybe that\'s a good thing. I think I\'ve been on the longest shopping spree ever, but it was soooo much fun!
\r\nSo I\'m just going to wait, it will come when Game despatch it, so I just need to be patient, yeah right - me patient - pfft. I shall try though lol.

\r\nTaken me a while to grasp that Sims 3 could be with me tomorrow!!! Well Game say they have picked & packed it :D All it needs now is to be despatched :) It could also come wednesday, I need to remind myself that before I burst with excitment.
\r\nWas out in the sun again today, feels like I\'ve been on the go all day, but in England when you see the sun you go out in it, because you never know when it will be back to rain again. I got back and a simmer friend of mine asked had I had an email from Game? I checked and it said they were processing my order :O
\r\nSo of course I\'m extremely happy, I can\'t wait to see the parcel, I\'m out again tomorrow, I swear I haven\'t stayed put at all this week, well it feels like it lol, so I\'ve got my mum on strict instructions to ring if it comes! If it does, the minute I get back from Coventry I\'ll be simming until midnight at least!
\r\nI tried handing out CVs (for you americans thats a Resum\u00E9) earlier but there are hardly any jobs, CEX did take one, so who knows I may get a job there, but everywhere else aren\'t hiring, grr at the recession!
