Happy New Year and Happy Simming :)

Hey,

I hope everyone had a great christmas!! :D :D I did, we watched \'The Muppets Christmas Carol\' - best adpation of The Christmas Carol if you ask me lol, and we watched \'The Big Bang Theory\' and \'Shrek the Third\', \'The Gruffalo\' lol - they put that on every year, but I still watch it lol. I was hoping we\'d watch one more film, but HMV\'s held it ransom lol, stupid weather!!

We\'ve actually had a white christmas, snow still on the ground lol, tried to go out yesterday but the buses weren\'t running, and I nearly broke my neck in the process lol, ice is no joke in this weather lol!

I did manage to do some simming on christmas eve, grew up both Alice and Amber Hughes, it did refuse to save after the first time, so I had to do it all over again, so even I got confused, Alice grew up in different outfits each time lol!

Amber grew up in her old hair again, eurgh!!

Makeover for Alice and Amber - well Amber\'s clothes stayed the same, but Alice has a new outfit :D From Left to Right, Alice, her sister Jade, other sister Amber, and her brother Aaron :D

Hope everyone else had fun with their sims over the christmas holiday!! I woke up this morning wanting to sim, but I\'ve got lots of stuff to watch, so it\'s going to have to wait, and I\'ll be out later to go and see my friend Becca, it\'s her birthday, so real life comes first lol! I do love simming but hanging with your friends is even better!! :D

Hey,

Merry Christmas everyone!! This year has flown by again lol, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gifted me this holiday!! :D And for the lovely wall comments!! :D :D

My sims have their tree up and stockings ready for Santa to visit:

I should be simming right now, but we\'ve just watched a Christmassy film instead lol; Beauty and the Beast, okay it\'s not that Christmassy but it is a lovely film and one I remember fondly from my childhood :)

But I\'m loading my game now and hopefully I\'ll get a chance to play, Shara\'s just had her party from the mayor for reaching level 10 of the Ghost Hunter career and her daughters are about to have their birthday party :D I have played the party before, but it didn\'t save :( I probably should clear out the caches again, but I\'ve already loaded it now, so oh well, hopefully it will work anyways....pretty please work lol!

Update on Error 12 and a fantastic dress for my simself!! :D

Hey,

So I saved each save a different name and it was working fine until I got carried away watching Celebrity Total Wipeout and kept pausing and then went to save, then I had issues :( it wouldn\'t save and when I went to edit town it crashed it :( so i\'m reloading now.

My good friend Tanya created a great dress for my simself, doesn\'t she look great lol, thanks Tan! \u2665 Check her blog for more pics of me and my sim friends out on the town in our dresses Tan made for us! :D

Ways to keep Error 12 at bay.

Hey,

So I can\'t move my family to a new save, they\'re too big, I forgot about Brianna and Ryan and their kid Donell, and not to mention Jake\'s new fianc\u00E9 who is a vampire, but well you can\'t pick who you fall for lol, so I\'ve been googling to find a solution and not been finding one.

So here\'s some tips I\'ve read to help keep the error at bay:

1. Save every hour, I always forget I\'ll be watching TV and playing sims and I lose track of time, and find when I press save it\'s been 5 hours (oops) and of course I get the error :(

2. Don\'t keep pausing and unpausing then save, that seems to cause problems as well.

3. Avoid having the launcher up when you save, my launcher is dodgy enough and takes a lot of my process power, so make sure its not running when you click save.

4. Re-name every save so i.e. Save 1, then Save 2, I\'ve not tried this yet, but as I had the error again last night, I\'m willing to try anything. Saving over saves causes problems as well.

Well I can\'t think how else to stop it atm lol, I wish EA would just sort out the World Failure save already, from what I\'ve read it only happens with big save files, so i.e. the ones you\'ve played for a long time or have a lot of families, so you could try cutting down your families, but that\'s just barbaric if you ask me lol!

Late Night means a lot of my families got turned into celebrities and I don\'t want to lose any families, so i\'m going to work out a solution somehow to this error, there\'s always deleting the caches when they get too big, that does seem to stop it.

Well I\'m gonna go and sim and make sure I save periodically lol!

Grr at Error 12

Hey,

Once again Error 12 has come into my game again, it only seems to happen with my really old saves (they\'re on week 28, day 7), my poor Hughes family, I had it the other week and managed to stop it, but they\'re living on borrowed time, i\'m inevitably going to have to package them all up in the one house and put them in a new save to get it to keep working, its like once it gets to a certain amount of time it self-destructs :( they don\'t really know any one though, so it will be ok to package them up I think, well I hope.I\'ve got to take the graves as well though lol, all the ancestors in there, can\'t lose them. I\'m hoping if I package them up they\'ll keep all the graves, I might need to download a bigger graveyard though lol, running out of room for all the graves.

Oh I just realised I can\'t package them up yet, there\'s already 6 in the household, and I\'d need to add Jack\'s Uncle Dion, his sister Kayleigh and their eldest son Jake, that makes 9 and I only have 8 slots, so I\'ve got to wait until Shara pops her clogs lol, which should be any day soon, it has just saved so they might not be as near save death as I thought :DI wish they\'d find a solution to Error 12, it\'s beyond annoying that once you play a save too much it\'s inevitable that it happens :( I did forget to save for 9 hours though, so that might have had something to do with it lol!

But anyways i\'m off to sim, happy simming!
