Please don't go social!

I see the Facebook game is evidently a big hit. I hate this. Now the EA team will be distracted with it which probably means delays in fixing bugs and creating new/quality content for the Sims PC game.
I hope this is not a trend to try and make Sims an on-line only game. I don\'t like interacting with others when it comes to my game play other than downloading new content or getting help/ideas. I don\'t want to have to socialize with \'real people\' while playing a game. I do that enough all day long with my job.
Plus, the facebook format is glitchier than EA. That\'s the reason I gave up the FB games and returned to playing my Sims. How discouraging to find out EA is downgrading to the FB format. I hope this is just a way for them to recruit more players to buy the PC games and not a way to eventually do away with PC/private play. I have not tried the FB game and won\'t as I\'m seriously considering just closing my FB account altogether. Tired of everying \'going Facebook\'.
Now if they make it like Spore where I can see others content in my game but not have them interfere with my play or interact with me, then that\'s fine. I just don\'t want something where I have to worry about another player messing up one of my family story lines. :-)
