My sims are getting boring again...these are the times I really miss the Sims 2 storybook for story telling. I just don't like the Sims 3 story telling abilities. So, I finally tried the blogger.com account. I may try this later tonight to start a new story to see if it will help to take the boredom away until Seasons comes out. I had hoped they'd bring back the storybook and do away with memories but oh well. If you're interested, I posted my first story on the site just now. The world became corrupted and I think I have it backed up. I may pick the storyline back up or I may just start a whole new story with an entirely different family. Well, guess what...I don't have to blog any more. I got my badge. Evidently my past blogs helped.....I may still blog from time to time but at least the pressures off for earning that badge!
P.S. Well a message popped up that I earned the badge but I don't see it on My Page yet....so until it shows there, guess I'll keep blogging.

Well, I made it into work today. Still really tired so I'm not sure if I'll boot up sims or not. Have to at least blog though. What do I have, 35 more to go until I get the badge? That may depend on when they started tracking blogs. I know I've blogged off and on in the past but never every day. I guess I could use today's blog to discuss Seasons more...I'm just so excited about this one. I love the feeling I get when it snows in the sims. It just makes me feel like getting a blanket and curling up in it while I play. I'm winter person that's for sure. Aspects of Seasons I'm really looking forward to...well the pie eating contest for one. At least now I can actually see them participate verses just having text tell me what's going on. Sims 4 discussions mention subhoods...I wonder if this means when the sims dive into a tunnel and explore, will we actually get to see what they see or will it be more of the texts? I'm also wondering what comes after seasons. I think apartment life was after Seasons in Sims2. Surely this isn't the last ep if sims 4 isn't due out until 2014. I really wish they would concentrate on fixing the 'bugs' with Sims 3 verses more eps & sps. Fix the memory glitches. Fix all the issues people need a mod for! I'd even pay for that if I knew it would really fix the issues. Anyhow, enough for tonight...may see if I can boot up my game for a little bit.

Well, I didn't get to blog yesterday as I was sick...yuck. Didn't even work from home. I did manage to boot up my sims for a little while. How could I not? My objective now is figuring out the best way to make my game run faster. I'm sure it's due to overcrowded homes & memories but I don't want to install a mod to fix it. I don't really want to move my family to another town but I may end up doing that. I think I'm going to try and evict/delete all the sims I'm not playing with. That should eliminate the overcrowding and memory issues. Then I'll just manage the dead on my own.

Just watched the live broadcast for Supernatural and Seasons. After watching this I'm debating on if I'll install Supernatural before or after Seasons. I prefer my sims worlds to be more 'realistic' than 'fantasy' and just not happy about zombies taking over even if it is just temporary. I am very very happy with Seasons and don't know a lot of people aren't. This just brings so much more 'realism' to the game but I guess that's the difference in simmers I guess. Have to disagree with the broadcast about sims not ever being able to swim in ocean, they did in the Sims 2. They didn't get to float on rafts but they did swim. Oh well, it's Sunday. Haven't played sims yet as the day is already about gone. Probably will just take my Sunday nap :-)

Sorry but I had to post another blog. Just watched the Seasons trailer. Boy am I finally excited about the Sims 3. While a lot of it is similar to Sims 2 Seasons, this is just so cool! They are finally bringing back swimming in the ocean and added floating! They've added a lot of other new activities but kept the old! Way to go EA! Finally I'm proud of you! Then the fall episode hints at alien abductions...of course maybe this part will be in Supernatural but if not, there's a definite hint that they are bringing that back :-). For me, it's the winter and fall I like the most. In sims 2 I created towns with no Summer as I hated summer and hate summer in real life :-). Didn't show ice skating for sims 3 but they kept roller skating so I can only hope and assume ice skating is back too. Now whether we have the same customizable weather patterns as Sims 2, I dunno but Seasons will definitely breathe life back into Sims 3 for me!

Yep, another blog...by now surely you can tell I'm working on that blog badge? That's the only web badge (at least as of the time of this), I think I can achieve :-). Don't understand the fascination with Blog, Twitter or Facebook. Yes I'm on them all. Gave up Facebook though and may only sign on if I need game support since that's easier than EAs game support. Twitter I really, really don't understand. To me it's just a big chat room where people just blurt out whatever they want whenever they want. When did that become good etiquette or manners? Sort of like blogging...don't people realize anything uploaded to the internet in any form is there to stay? That's why anything I type on-line, I expect it to be there permanently. Even if it's deleted by me (or whoever), it's not really gone. That's the sad thing about this generation. Too much trust in technology and government. Not enough trust in God, themselves or fellow human beings. I suppose these blogs should be about Sims since it's a Sim site...dunno what the rules all. Tried to find them once and failed and figure if it's not appropriate they will delete or notify me somehow. I did mention the Sims badge I'm working on so I hope that's good enough. Oh well, drinking my coffee, watching netflix and gonna boot up sims soon. Should be housecleaning...but oh well :-)

Ahhhh! TGIF! Another work week done (sort of). Need to work from home some but hopefully I'll still get some simming in. Read the Spring Blog. I am more excited about the Seasons EP than the Supernatural one. Just don't think the Supernatural one will bring much new content. Oh yeah, zombies, werewolves and witches. So what! I rarely play with the vampires and use my genies to ensorce the one's I run across to rid my town of them. (have the ensorcel sim buy the vampire potion and drink it) Sure wish they would add an easier option to rid towns of the unwanted Sims such as the vampires.. I know, I know...don't buy the EP but I like the other aspects of Late Night and knew I'd have to put up with the stupid vampires in order to get the content I actually like. Sort of like cable or satellite tv. Have to pay for all the channels I don't like/watch just to get the one's I do! So, yes I'll get Supernatural just for the aspects of the EP I do like/want.

Well, is this a first? Preorder an EP before the one prior is released? Odd. Don't recall them being this close together...hope this doesn't mean the end of sims 3 is sooner than 2014! Probably the economy and trying to boost sales. Wish they would take more time with content and ensuring complications won't happen when EPs are installed verses getting them on the shelves to sell quickly. Yes I've preordered Supernatural and yes I'll preorder Seasons. At least they haven't slapped KP all over these two. Plants vs Aliens makes sense for Supernatural and I like that game too so I don't mind getting that extra content. The extra content for Seasons isn't all that great but I like the whole Seasons theme and want to make sure I get that one as soon as I can! :-)

Middle of the week! Two more days till the weekend. Wish that meant more simming but unfortunately I'll have to work to make up for taking a day off next week for my mom's dr appointments. Oh well...so for today it's storming. Hail like I haven't seen before and lightning so close I saw the steam! Hope it passes soon so I'll have a little time to be with my sims tonight :-)
