I just got done lurking the Store Section and, according to SimGuruTatertot, the reason why the Daily Deal will no longer be able to be gifted to other simmers is because of some new programming which has made the option impossible.
EA, do you REALLY want me to believe that your IT department is so incompetent that they can't figure out how to include gifting the Daily Deal into this new program? Okay, you got it--your IT Team sucks! ^_^
But seriously, I'm calling BS on this one. You're just being greedy as hell--as usual--and trying to force full-priced sales. I feel badly for the people who can't get simpoints and rely on gifting to get content, but I really hope this turns around and bites you in the rear. The only thing you seem to understand is dolla-dolla bill signs. Maybe if gifting grinds to a stop, you'll finally understand that something is better than nothing.
