It's been a while since I made a blog entry. I guess since they've changed the page layout (and, yes, I'm still HORRIBLY bitter about that) and you can no longer instantly see them when you open the page, they've slipped my mind a bit. Out of sight, out of mind. *blushes*
Anyway, I guess I'll put this here so just in case I'm right I'll have documented proof that my theory was correct. ^_^
One of the main things I hate about the Store, besides how they refuse to fix their broken crap in favor of spewing out more questionable items, is how they refuse to release PC items from World Venues. When Worlds are new, okay fine, I get it. Wave that tasty carrot in front of people's faces and make them bite. But when a World is over a year old, I think it's time to relax the leash a bit and get a second influx of money by releasing the PC items. If the fish haven't bitten by then, then they just ain't biting!
Now my prediction is this: Right before the "end" of Sims 3 but before the launch of Sims 4, I have a feeling that EA will "generously" release ALL PC items for sale in the Store. There's a reason why each item that is bundled with a World has a price listed next to it. For those who will not be moving on to Sims 4 for whatever reason, this will be a godsend. But for others, it will put them in a difficult position. They'll have to decide if they should spend extra money on EXPENSIVE PC items that they will only enjoy for a few months or save that money for the Sims 4 Store--which WILL be fully stock with Day One DLC.
Only time will tell...
Later Days!
