Yippeeee!  I think Spring is finally here, it was beautiful today.       

Was out and about doing errands and it was soooo nice outside, but the stores still have their heat on, gahhh I was sweating up a storm inside.  So after I got home I just took a walk to the Park and just sat in the Gazebo watching the Geese in our man-made pond.  The breeze still has that hint of winter coolness to it, but it was so sunny that the cool breeze felt great.  Gosh I love Spring, but Fall is my favorite season.  I often think about moving somewhere warm, but then I think I would miss my Spring and Fall to much. :)

Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70\'s, gosh I think I will have to go to the Park again. :)

Had some Real Life issues come up and haven\'t been able to get on this site much, nor have I played my poorly running game. :(

My enthusiasm for this website and the game are waning.  Too much strife on the forum and a game that won\'t play properly.  I visit the forums to have a laugh or two and to forget my stresses of the day, but it\'s not been working very well lately.  My game is so frustrating to play, that I rarely try to even play it now.

Maybe just restless because Spring is so near and I am ready for the snow to be gone (although we are supposed to get snow this weekend). :(

Well I guess I\'ll be getting off for now...I\'ve been sick the last few days and I am still pretty weak since I haven\'t been able to keep any food down for days...waaa.

Well shut my mouth!  I tried the forum last night and I was able to see it!  They sent us a message that the forum was up to test it...Gahh I was shocked I could actually post...and happy.  I only stayed on for a little while as I was so tired and my eyes couldn\'t look at the screen anymore without hurting, so I reluctantly left crossing my fingers that it would work for me the next day.  So I tried getting to the forum this morning and yeah I could access it!  Since I have been forced into lurking for so many months now, it was almost second nature not to try posting.   

So I thought I\'d better try to post to see if it would work and dun dun daaa.....    ...I get sent to the login page even though clearly I am logged in since I see my userid on the GD index...so I try logging in anyway and it keeps taking me right back to the login page.  So my worst fears realized...I am again unable to post on the forum.    I suppose I should be grateful that I\'m not seeing the proxy error or Apache tomcat error.  Hopefully since the message from the Guru\'s said they were still working on the forum that this gets fixed.  Why is it that the \"regulars\" who you see posting all the time, can always post; while the same people who have trouble posting...still have trouble...well that\'s how it seems sometimes.  I guess getting a tad paranoid and frustrated    , almost feels like I\'ve been banned from the site    , which would be crazy since I can rarely post and when I do...it\'s never anything that breaks the rules.

Oh and I also noticed there is no quick response option to post a reply.  Also My Page takes forever to load...when I updated my story, it never did bring My Page back up.  I had to close that Tab and open a new one and it took several tries to get back to My Page.

So not to be such a negative Nancy and unappreciative...Thanks EA for working on the forum and I hope it gets fixed soon.    

Well I guess I\'ll try to go play my game later, but it\'s been crashing repeatedly since HEL\'s...so maybe it\'s time for a new hobby or get back to my old ones.

Must have gobs of trouble that they are trying to sort out to make it run properly!

Funny how I go to some of the other websites and they are all going on about how much they hate EA and like the website they are at so much better, but they can\'t wait for the EA forum to get back up and running so they can post again on this site.  I wonder if that thought could be classified as oxymoronic?

Well I for one like this site the best.  As I have said before it is where our Sims originate from and whether people like to admit it or not, this is where a lot of people hangout the most.  I read some odd statement at one of those blogs...they predict this site will be gone one day, but the Simmer community interest will continue way after EA has lost interest...I find the people who write for that blog a bit sanctimonious at times.  They believe themselves to be a sort of \"Robin Hood and his Merry Gits\" helping to bring peace and justice to the Simming Way!  giggle-snort...whatever! :)

Well, hopefully this site will be back up one day soon and I hope I can post again, because this is where I will be hanging. :)

Wow...tried to access the forum and it\'s still down for maintenance, well for me it\'s still popping up the trouble page. OoO  Honestly I don\'t care how long it\'s down, as long as when it comes back up... IT WORKS FOR EVERYONE!  I\'ve never understood why some people could still post a response, while other\'s were either totally blocked from the forum or couldn\'t post a response.  I of course experienced the latter situation(s).  Although I did luck out at times and could post a response or two, but then would lapse back to the proxy error.  Well I guess I\'ll check the forum tomorrow to see if it\'s breathing again...haa-ha...

Oh, and florida1cowboy, I saw your cemetery on your page and left you a recommend!  Too bad it won\'t let you upload the ghosts, I know other people have uploaded ghost families to the exchange...Maybe it\'s because the site is under maintenance, or is your file to big?  I know it can\'t exceed a certain limit, of course I have no idea what that limit is, but then I\'ll bet you know that already :) .  Not sure what you used to create and upload to the exchange since you deleted everything.....Happy Simming! :)

You didn\'t have a wishlist so I wasn\'t sure what to send.  I left you a couple of rec\'s for the 2 items you left in your studio.  I know it may not save them, but maybe...OK, now this is making me cry again...

The Sim site you mentioned is one I have checked out before and you\'re right, it seems friendly enough, but their forum does not get the traffic that  the EA forum gets.  I belong to a lot of sites, but only post here and at Carl\'s Sims3 guide.  It would be nice if we had a guest book or PM\'ing here since this sites \"My Page\" works more often than the forum.  I will think about joining that site, but I have soooo many passwords because I never make them the same.   

There was a message sent tonite that they were doing maintenance on the forum.  I\'m hoping they can fix it, then all they need to do is fix the game. Ha-haa.  I can understand your frustration with this site, but even with all it\'s faulty working\'s it is still where our Sims originate from and the other sites just don\'t seem as fun.  Hopefully we will cross paths on a forum wherever that may be!   Take care. :)

So I read your sad goodbye thread...it made me cry.  I am so sorry for your loss.  My sister has been gone for a little over a year now and it still seems surreal.  I miss her with every breath I take.  I was also saddened to hear you are dealing with an illness too.  Life sometimes is indeed unfair and when you\'re down...it makes trying to make the best of life even more difficult.

I also came to this site because no one I know understands why I love this game so much...except my sister who passed.  So it was fun to see every-one\'s enthusiasm and chatter about what they were doing in the game.  I also loved to share my creations, even if they weren\'t so popular! haa-haa :)  The game used to help me relieve the stress in my life too, but as of late it is adding to the stress level more than it is helping.  I cannot see the forum unless I am logged out of the site, so then I can\'t post.  I got my very 1st error 16 last Sunday, so now my game crashes to desktop with no warning, even after I deleted that game.

Well I don\'t know if you will ever read this blog post, but I will check your page to see if you reply.  I am sorry I didn\'t know of your situation sooner, but then we both have had the same problem with the forum.  Take care!

Since I logged my proxy error woes on My Story for the month of February, I decided to let my woeful story have it\'s own space in my blog.  This way I will be able to look back and laugh or cry at it when this site is working smooth as a babies bottom! (right, cries!) >->  hee hee...sob, sniffle.
