Wedding Catering in Milwaukee
POSTED ON 11/06/17

Hosting a wedding party, whether it be a wedding, office gathering, or your kid’s birthday, is a fun and easy way to celebrate a special day.  While a wedding party is very easy, having a plan beforehand is extremely important.  Without some of the necessary supplies, you will be scrambling to put everything together at the last minute.  In this post I want to show you what it takes to put together a catering, and some tips for pulling it off smoothly.

If you’ve been baking for a while you probably have all of the kitchen supplies that are needed.  One thing that many people forget to check is how much baking soda/powder they have before starting.  I’ve seen too many baking projects get hung up because we have to run to the store for such a simple ingredient.

Some of the supplies that you might not have are the cupcake carrier and the stand.  Cupcake carriers are like big Tupperware boxes that keep the cupcakes from tipping over in transport.  The best Milwaukee wedding caterers extremely helpful to have on hand.  Finding a wedding caterer is also crucial for presenting your cupcakes at the time of the event.  These are usually tiered, and if you can get one that has flat tiers you will find a ton of different uses for it.

One of the most important things that you can do beforehand is to bake off a test batch and decorate them.  You may have an idea of what you want the finished cupcakes to look like, but without a bit of practice it will be tough to get them right the first time.  It’s easy to spot the ones that don’t do this, there are a dozen cupcakes that look great, a dozen that look decent, and a dozen that look crummy!  I don’t want you to have to go through that, so be sure bake off a practice round beforehand!

Being prepared is probably the most important aspect of a successful cupcake party, and once you buy the stuff for the first one, you’ll have it for all of the rest that you throw later on.  All you’ll need is eggs, flour, and milk!
