Amazing Conceptions!
ОТПРАВЛЕНО 06.07.09
I am truly loving the hands-off extension of my family lines in Sims 3 (mainly, how satellite families continue on, AI-controlled, with The Sims 3\'s linear time construct).

The fact that my cast-off families (i.e. the non-legacy heirs) now have lives (albeit out of my control) is different yet delightful.  Relinquishing control was difficult at first, but I now enjoy the fact that my satellite families do not stay stagnant, as they always ended up lagging generations behind the main family because I never would get around to playing them.

That said, I have been intrigued by the creativity - or random oddness - of the game\'s control over my sims.  Once I send them off to make their own fortunes - to live or die, make it or lose it, by their own hand (or, rather, the game\'s random engineering) - I am always excited by thoughts of what may become of their lives.  And, true to the ingenious and always witty ingenuity of EA Games developers, I am often surprised - and delighted - by what happens.

It\'s fascinating, honestly.  If this were any other game, I suppose I could expect staid and normal lives for my sims; but this, let us not forget, is a game developed by the very people who came up with the idea of the cow plant .  These guys and gals are wonderfully wacky and have always kept this game fresh and ever-surprising (the AI of sims never ceases to amaze me); not to mention uproariously funny!  That said, in my next post, I will share the tale of my \"satellite\" sims and the lives the game\'s chancey dice have rolled out for them.
