The revolution of emotional intelligence in video games

Modern video games have long ceased to be just entertainment with simple rules and a primitive plot. Today they are becoming a real emotional experience that can change our perception of reality and even ourselves. I was particularly impressed by this after reading an article that explored the emotional intelligence revolution in gaming. . My own experience shows that it really works. For example, I've noticed how some games help me cope better with stress or even develop empathy. While playing story-based adventures, I realized how important choices and their consequences are, and I understood even more deeply the value of emotional communication. On the other hand, I am a little worried about the potential danger: games that can recognize your emotions can use it for manipulation. In my opinion, this development of technology is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, we have a unique opportunity to study ourselves through games, but on the other hand, there is a risk of losing some of our autonomy.
