but...
We had such a horrible scare. Our littlest puppy Giovanni Finklemeyer was stepped on by my grandbabygirl (my daughter\'s other dog) We\'re talking 80lbs vs 12 lbs. Not good. So Gio starts acting strange, so I took him to the vet and they said he seems fine, so $45.00 later we take him home. The next morning he still seemed terrible down. His normally happy ears were hanging low to the ground, so my daughter took him back and they discovered he was bleeding internally. It seems he found some mouse poison, and it was causing his blood not to clot, so it was touch and go for a while.
But good news... 3 days and a nice chunk of change later and he\'s home.
Luckily we have the BEST veterinary clinic and Dr\'s in the world...
He\'s not out of the woods yet. He still has blood in his lungs and they are worried that a clot may break off and enter his heart. We have to keep him calm - of course it\'s hard to keep him calm for 10 minutes let alone for the next 30 days. To keep my little fetta safe we will be attached at the hip.
We canceled Thanksgiving, since we now don\'t have the finances to allow it, but we are more thankful than ever that our little Gio is with us. He\'s just a sweet little 18 month old baby. Could we have a better gift??
