Opinion on World Adventures
POSTED ON 09/25/09
I\'m having an overwhelmingly negative reaction to the World Adventures trailer. While it might be fun to go on a quest, I\'d buy a totally different game than the sims for that purpose.\r\n\r\nThe reason I play the sims is that it is (was?) focused on social interactions and community. It was one of the few games on the market that appealed to a female audience. I\'m disappointed that EA didn\'t work on making this aspect of the game richer and more interesting.\r\n\r\nFrankly, with all the bugs and bad programming in the base game, I\'m having a difficult enough time achieving the community I had in the Sims 2. I don\'t see how sending my sims off on an Indiana Jones quest is going to fit in with teaching their toddlers to walk. Considering that the babysitters do NOTHING for their pay, the kids will be dead by the time my sims return from Egypt.
Useless Coupon?

Yay, I got a coupon code from EA for a free lamp. Too bad it doesn\'t work.
