Is Time on here limited ?
POSTED ON 09/09/14
Wondering how much time we have left on this site.

The Sims 4. I haven't got it yet which is surprising but that is because I am not sure it is going to be worth it!

I will go back to playing the Sims 2. That game had just about all I wanted and needed in a game. Such a great pity that my stories and uploads on the Sims 2 site have all been lost since it was closed :(

I may get the Sims 4 to try it out see if I agree what is being said about it. From what I have read it seems to be a lean game. Guess EA are wanting their monies worth and screwing us out of more money and making us buy extra EP's to make the game more playable and fun. They should be careful about this as it could backfire!

As someone who loved the Sims 1 had to drag myself away from it to play the Sims 2 and when I found that the Sims 2 I was WOW this is a wonderful game, a challenge where I could control almost everything, I was totally hooked. I never looked back! I can't say that about the Sims 3. I wanted so badly to like the Sims 3 and there are elements that are great about it but I found myself wanting and hated all the problems and severe glitches in the game.

My ideal Sims game. A neighbourhood as in the Sims 2 where we could start from scratch if we wanted. Putting in lots where "we" wanted by moving things around. Going to other Neighbourhoods to find vampires and not having them in every neighbourhood as in the Sims 3, and certainly not having to add special building to make al the special things they added in the game.

I  loved how we could take townies to University in the Sims 2 with our playable Sim.  Loading screens are not a problem for me; would rather that than an open neighbourhood where families are moving in and out not under "my" control. To me this was a deal breaker in the Sims 3.

I am sure there are many things I would love to add and dislike about all the 3 series.

From what I am reading about the Sims 4 I am not really sure is a true PC game. Has this been made with consoles in mind? Less money and work for EA?

For me PC games have always been superior to console games, The odd console game I have tried has never had me tranfixed wanting to play more. But then I am old school.

Think on EA. If you continue down this road thinking that you need to bring a younger audience into your game without considering your older and somewhat faithful Simmers, you will lose big time!
