The end after 10 years

Oh, I am sure I did this before, but now I actually have no choice. My game just wont start up again. So I am going to calculate how much I have spent on the sims 3 and how long I played it, as well as how much fun I had, just to see if it all balances out. I\'ll be honest. After all, most games have a limited lifespan.
SPENT:
Base game 50 euro\'s
WA 35 euros
HL 19 euros
Ambitions 35 euros
FL 19 euros
Late Night 35 euros
Store credit: 54 euros
______total: 247 euros
Played since June 2009: nearly 2 years, minus time spend reinstalling, fixing, ignoring the game: 12 months worth (I am being generous here)
Fun/frustration:
It looks good and had a lot of promise with open plan game play
It is glitchy and is expensive.
______Result: This game cost me 20 euros a month, which is more than an average subion to an MMO. I had more fun playing other games, glitch free. No. It was not worth the 20 a month.
What I could have done with 247 euros is: Buy a new handheld console. Buy my cat an elaborate scratching post. Played Lord of the Rings Online for 22 months. Bought myself that pair of winterboots I desprately wanted, and needed. Plus the nice leather bag that went with it. Taken my family out to dinner at a 4 star restaurant (small family).
So, if The Sims 3 was a boyfriend, I would have broken up with him months ago.
