If you want to see the most recent chapter, here is the link http://aoxa-sims.livejournal.com/25953.html

I have adjusted some of the settings on LJ so it doesn\'t freeze as much. I am 99% sure it had to do with the posting from this site trying to load. It isn\'t doing it for me now, and this is a crappy computer.

Thanks for the continuous support, I will always be grateful for that... I hope you can continue to support me even when I don\'t use this site for my main posting.
Spouse Winner!
POSTED ON 12/10/09
The winner of the votes is: Bethany Pegg! :)

I think it is about time that someone with colour was married into this legacy, so thank you so much simaddict14 !!

Now on a sadder note: Why are all you guys so darn upset over who got put into the poll? If I didn\'t put your sim up, I knew they wouldn\'t have a chance at being voted for... Don\'t take this the wrong way..> Of course there were some that had a chance, but you must have given me the link too late, or I just simply missed it. I am a human, and I do make mistakes... This is supposed to be a hobby and for fun, but you guys are making this more like a job to me..> Do you want me to continue? Do you want me to stop allowing you to submit spouses? I think I am giving you a lot of options to help in my legacy, and as far as I know, I am one of the few that does this.

Stop with the negative feedback, I will not respond any longer. I have a few people that stick up for me and they will say some pretty nasty things if you chose to be rude to me. This is your final warning.

There were plenty more beautiful submissions for Seth, but they all looked very similar... I was hoping to get someone out of the ordinary for me, and Bethany is just right! I may change one or two of her traits just to make her personality a bit more interesting.

And to Jessjess1001: Why the heck are you still showing your face?! Seriously! I copied you since day one? Why the hell would a 22 year old copy a ten year old? Especially when she/he has no stories posted other than negative crap?
**Additional note** This is what she said on my livejournal account without provocation:
jessjess1001: so aoxa stop making this legacy i forbid you to stop youve been copying my ideas since day 1!!!!and 2 and 3 and 4

Please stop posting stories for spouses!
POSTED ON 12/08/09
It is clogging the story board! You don\'t need to do this to get my attention, so PLEASE take them off! It makes me look bad, as if I am asking you to take away from other writers!

I will be more likely to pick one of your sims if you take the story off! Thanks!

If you want to get my attention, e-mail me or send me the link on my LJ page or guestbook!

:) Have a great day!
Update - New Chapter
POSTED ON 12/08/09
I was going to post the spouse poll today, but realized there were plenty more submissions that I didn\'t see until now... I will have them up tomorrow, and the next chapter will be out on Thursday! Sorry for the delay!

I got my Christmas present early from my fiancee and it is a Kindle! She didn\'t do a great job on hiding it from me... Left the e-mail saying it was shipped up, I didn\'t say anything, she talked about it in her sleep, still didn\'t say anything, but when we went to check our online banking TOGETHER, that was the last straw... lol.. Oh well! I love it! :-D  - JK Rowling won\'t allow her books to be read in e-book form... crap..
Some other stories to read!

Recommended by me :D

Check out these stories made by other users on this wonderful site!

Story Series

Evergreen-Part 1 by SwishStar - This is about a teenage girl who starts a new life in a new town. Very well written, and the screenshots are amazing!

Heirloom - by animaga - This is about vampires >:) gotta love it! It is one of my favourite series of all time! I had to send Animaga a gift telling her she must continue! I was waiting forever for her most recent chapter - and it was definitely NOT a disappointment!

Legacies

Rubystone77 of course writes the amazing Gibson Legacy and Legacy Chronicles! She was also the one who sent me World Adventures and is a good friend of mine! Check her out if you haven\'t already!

BlueChan writes the hilarious Lune Legacy - which makes me smile each time I see a new chapter!

Awsome96 writes A Girly Legacy - This is a newer one that has been getting a lot of positive feedback, and I really enjoy it!

Note:
Okay, so those are my recommended stories to read today! I may possibly recommend more later, so don\'t yell at me if I didn\'t recommend your story. If I felt it stood out, and was thoroughly enjoyable, I would/will suggest it at a later time!

Please check these out! All of these writers deserve far more credit than they receive!

Spouse Submissions
POSTED ON 12/07/09
More info on spouse submissions:

Try to keep CC to a minimum, I don\'t want my game to die on me again, so thanks for considering this :)

Also, when you are creating the looks for the spouse please try to remember the following:

- I am still trying to keep lighter eyes, as Seth has brown eyes, I would rather anything BUT brown. Green, blue, green-blue, hazel, anything but brown :P

- Please tell me what their traits are, and create names that aren\'t ridiculous, or humorous, (put in the deion field when you are uploading to your launcher, from the game.)

- If you can\'t e-mail me the links, just put Aoxa in the deion and I will check regularly for submissions.

- I know everyone loves CC hair, but I will put it in when they are in my game, so thanks for using EA hair! You can any store hair you have as well, I\'m sure I have it too :) That goes with clothing!

- Skills are very much appreciated, but you don\'t HAVE to do this! It just helps me out ;)

- I would love a red-head, but that\'s just me.

- I will have a vote for my top ten picks, and you can decide who you would like to see win!

Update
POSTED ON 12/06/09
Seth is officially the Heir of generation eleven! WOO :-D

Now it\'s time for your spouse submissions! You can e-mail me the links to your sims (submit as households WITH skills please... I need a bit of help :P Young adults!)

I can\'t post the newest chapter today... We had a snow storm and our power went out and it is now nearly noon, and I don\'t want to risk losing my story on this site... It lags like crazy on Sundays and kicks me off for no reason.

Don\'t worry though, you won\'t have to wait a week to read the next chapter! It will be out tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on my work!

One more thing - I was asked if I would be doing a Christmas special, and the answer is Yes - :D I can try anyways!

I love snow!! I was like a little kid this morning! But it really bothered me that the power was out... We got maybe 20 cm! Snow man - here I come!!

My dogs adore the snow, and Koda was having a blast hopping around :) I love dogs.. they make you laugh.

I am having a hard time with my livejournal account right now. I can\'t get on to reply to anyone for some reason... It keeps timing out.

Just so you know. :)

I believe Seth is winning, but I am having someone help me count the votes. So thanks miyadana!

I will try my very best to post the next chapter tomorrow morning. That is if the site isn\'t too busy... It kicked me of this morning and I lost 45 minutes of work.. *sigh*
Sims 3 World Adventures
POSTED ON 12/03/09
I have been reading reviews of The Sims 3 - World Adventures, just for the heck of it, but I came across this very well written article/review of the game. Just sharing it with those of you who are on the fence with deciding whether or not to purchase the game, or put it on you Christmas list.

In many ways, The Sims 3: World Adventures \r\nhas arrived just in time. As fans\' hunger for additional features hits\r\ncritical mass, EA delivers what is arguably its most significant\r\nexpansion to date. Unlike add-ons to previous editions, this one\r\nintroduces mould-breaking gameplay elements as well as those obligatory\r\nbonuses.

World Adventures brings some international\r\nflair to the table, but this is much more than the gimmicky vacation\r\npacks of old. Introducing exotic locations in China, Egypt and France,\r\nthe title delivers no shortage of additional bells and whistles, except\r\nthis time they come bundled with innovative new gameplay features that\r\nadd adventure elements to the mix. For the first time in Sims \r\nhistory, players will find themselves hunting for treasure, raiding\r\nancient tombs and solving puzzles. Although its formula was far from\r\nturning stagnant, it is refreshing to see the developers take a\r\ndifferent perspective and breathe new life into the game.

The\r\ndebuting features have been skilfully integrated, so players will pick\r\nup the additional mechanics in no time. When you first arrive in a\r\nforeign location, you are taken to a town that functions as a base\r\ncamp. Here you can tend to your Sim\'s basic needs, mingle with the\r\nlocals and learn new skills. The most striking point of interest in\r\neach town is the adventure board, which serves as a means of selecting\r\nyour missions.

Item retrieval quests mark a radical change of\r\npace for the game. Rather than leisurely menu perusing and endless\r\nmouse clicking, players are given light RPG components to contend with.\r\nRaiding tombs comprises trap disarming, unearthing secret passages and\r\nblock sliding puzzles. While it doesn\'t sound like anything\r\nrevolutionary, integrating these features into a Sims title\r\nhas a profound effect, although they could have been more challenging.\r\nRewards on offer include gems, precious metals and ancient artefacts -\r\nall of which can be used to purchase Visa points, buying you more time\r\nabroad.

Solo trips are definitely recommended over family\r\nvacations, as the implications of the latter are sure to induce a\r\nmigraine. With one Sim off on a mission and the other acquainting\r\nthemselves with the locals while the kids learn martial arts and nectar\r\nmaking, it becomes impossible to so much as tend to their basic needs,\r\nlet alone focus on the individual story elements. A lack of balance in\r\nthis area of the game means that the only option is to send your\r\ncharacters abroad one at a time.

It isn\'t all pillaging and\r\nproblem solving. There\'s further variety to be found in the shape of\r\nnew skills specific to each culture. Your Sim can master martial arts\r\nin China or pick up photography in France, and there are a host of\r\nbonuses associated with acquiring these abilities. For example, those\r\nadept with their cameras can take part in scavenger hunts, or just use\r\ntheir photographic skills to document their travels. Items looted from\r\ntombs will return home with you, taking pride of place on your coffee\r\ntable. There is even an option to build your own puzzle-filled tomb in\r\nthe basement of your house, which provides plenty of entertainment when\r\nother Sims come to visit.

In addition to new gameplay and\r\nskills, there is all of the extra content fans have come to expect from\r\nthese add-on packs. There are new outfits, furniture, characters and\r\nbonus items to play with, all replete with international flavour. With\r\nthree towns packed with these features to explore, World Adventures is sure to keep fans coming back time and time again.

The developers\' satirical take on each of the three cultures represented is both quaint and in keeping with the Sims \'\r\nlegacy. The word \'stereotypical\' often springs to mind, but in a\r\ntongue-in-cheek sense rather than a vulgar one. From the vibrant decor\r\nto the stylish architecture, the designers have dreamed up something\r\nboth visceral and imaginative, and the result will cost you every\r\nminute of your free time.

With all of the additional bonuses and new customisable features in place, World Adventures is everything you would expect from a Sims \r\nexpansion pack and then some. The inclusion of expansive gameplay\r\nmechanics elevates this offering far beyond the realms of mere add-on,\r\ngiving it the feel of a sequel in its own right. Lacking none of the\r\nstyle and humour that we have come to expect from the series, this is\r\none holiday destination worth visiting. Just remember to leave the\r\nfamily behind.

How to Create a Sucessful Legacy!
POSTED ON 12/01/09
I have been asked this at least 50 times now.. probably more... Anyways, I want to give everyone that is reading this a link that is very helpful!

http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=109386

- I agree with everything XxCookieDoughxX has to say regarding this, I couldn\'t have expressed it better myself! :)

Recommend it, if it answered any of your questions.

PLEASE.. please.. watch the grammar and spelling.. I can\'t tell you how hard it is to read a legacy that hasn\'t been spell checked.. I know a lot of you are very young, but you still know how to use word right? Copy and paste! That helps if you are afraid of Create A Story failing on you as well!

Have a great day! Thanks for supporting me! *chocolate chip cookies for all!!*
