Have been unusually busy lately so I have had very little time to spend on the forums. I\'ve only had time to check the Daily Deal and a couple of stories I follow. I haven\'t even played my game much or had the time to make a new Thanksgiving siggy. Used one I had from last year. Oh well maybe I can manage a new Christmas siggy...time will tell.
It\'s my turn to cook Thanksgiving Dinner this year, so I\'ve actually been shopping the last couple of days getting decorations and groceries. Can\'t really stay on here too long, have to get started on baking pies and prepping for the dinner tomorrow.

Birthday Set!

Yipppeeee!!!! Yesterday I received an email from EA for my free Birthday Set!!! I checked for an email really early, but didn\'t see one from them, but I was out all day yesterday and didn\'t get a chance to check again til this morning and ta-daa they sent it around 8 a.m., but I was gone already for a birthday breakfast with friends. Anyway I\'m so happy that I received it! Here is a pic of the free Birthday Set: Isn\'t it cute!!! I love it, Thank You EA!!!!

Yes, I\'m back. Although I was in need of a break from the forum, it was fortuitous that I was expecting some family to come in for a visit from out of state. So whatever annoyances I felt while posting on the forum before, they seem to have been allayed by the respite I had to take.
It was certainly nice to come back to find a lot of my favorite stories had updates to read and some had more than one. Although I still have a few to catch up on, but I have to run out right now and will try to catch up on them later today.

Yes, need to take a break from this place. The forums are still acting weird, sometimes it takes too many tries to try and post a comment on the forums and I seem to have run out of patience to keep trying. Besides the Holidays are coming and Real Life is certainly going to be keeping me busy. In fact I have some family coming in from out of state this weekend so I\'m going to be really busy. I\'ll probably just pop in to check the Daily Deal. Trying to make a Thanksgiving siggy, but haven\'t had the time to even start it!

Didn\'t see a message for any maintenance, but I can\'t see some of the forum sections, like Stories & Legacies, Sims & Modeling, Ideas & Feedback and anything that used to be below those sections. I was going to check up on some stories, but I guess not. When I try to check the bookmarks for some of the stories I follow, I just keep going to the error page.

New Holiday Set

They put up the new Free Happy Holiday Presents Set in the store. No surprise people are not happy with the tree already...apparently it\'s like a light. I haven\'t been in my game yet to check it out, but I\'m happy just to get a Christmas Tree.

They have also added more pay sets, which are nice too, but the laundry set is a bit expensive because it has added game play, but people are upset about the price anyway. Oh well, I guess you either pay to buy it or not.

Vampires

Can\'t decide if I want to bother playing one in game or not. I only played vampires in TS2 a couple of times and I think I ended up with both of them dieing. I was such a noob at playing Sims that my only great skill was killing Sims accidentally. It was when I wanted a Sim to die that I couldn\'t make it happen, I\'m so cruel...muhahah!
Anyway, I\'m surprised the exchange hasn\'t been flooded with vampires...last time I checked it had like 32 vampires both genders. Maybe I will try to turn my Simself into a vampire, I just put her in the game yesterday, but then I think that if I make her a vampire it might creep me out and I might end up killing myself accidentally. Maybe I will make some other Sim a vampire first to see what happens to the Sim when they are turned, after all don\'t wanna go offing myself! LOL.

First day of my fave month, always loved the fall. It was pretty cold last night and I had a bout of insomnia, so I\'m really out of sorts right now since I didn\'t get any sleep. Made a pot of coffee and was playing my game until it crashed! So I figured I would get rid of all the Halloween stuff on my page and then realized I didn\'t have a fall signature. So I made one really quick and if I\'m not too lazy I will make a better one later, maybe.
