So last week I finally managed to get the house I\'d been putting off uploading for 4 months uploaded... yeah The Rockery was the house I\'d been working on and working on and finished and just not been bothered to take pictures of and upload. I have to admit that I\'m more happy with the interiors of that house than the exterior, for whatever reason the house structure just doesn\'t look as good in TS3 as it did in TS2 and it gives a sort of squat look... but I really like the gardens on this version of the house and it sits in it\'s surroundings a lot better as well.

And then last night I uploaded another of the shells I created back in August. I\'m really pleased with Cypress Creek. I really like the look of the house, and I\'m glad I finally took a chance on landscaping using a bridge as I think it really works in that particular setting. I kinda decided to give the house an \"extended\" look, as though at some point the owners decided to add on two new rooms (the study and games room) which is why they have a slightly more modern feel but I still wanted them to fit the rest of the house so they still use the same floors and textures as the more rustic living and dining areas. I\'m really pleased with how it worked out. I also like the accident that was the ensuite bathroom, I was trying to work out how to lay it out so it didn\'t look like the downstairs bathroom and tried to transfer in the cream from the rest of the house but for some reason on that particular texture I added it to it came out pink and da-dah I ended up with (what I think) is a rather nice mixture of reddy brown and rose pink. Though it was sligthly irritating that the cream came out cream on every other texture so I couldn\'t just CASt it across and had to adjust the colours for everything else LOL

Anyway, I already have another house on the go... a modern 3 bedroom. The shell is built (was built at the same time as the creek) and the exterior colours are on, now I\'m working on the landscaping as I have a very specific idea about what I want to do in the garden. It\'s not something I\'ve seen anyone else do yet so I\'m hoping it will be a really nice unique feature :)

It\'s such a shame when real life gets in the way of simming. No uploads and not even any building for the last 2 months or so because real life took over :( But soon I have some time off and will hopefully be able to upload and/or work on a few new houses. I have one that\'s ready to go I just haven\'t managed to get all the pictures of it, and about 3 others I want to get finished off :( I need way way way more hours in the day.... or maybe just more time for fun LOL Not working on computers all day would help too then I\'d be more inclined to come on one when I\'ve finished work.

Anyway, I\'m still around and still trying to do stuff it\'s just not happening at the moment.
