Thank you for gifting me the Grilled Cheese Badge and I’m proudly wearing it on my kewl new avatar picture aka Ms. Super Bad . :-)

Also, thank you for taking the time to enlighten me on that other situation as well. As you know, I’m a stickler when it comes to privacy regardless of the circumstances so very well done. All I can say is… wow! :-(

Updated my avatar and page.

It was time for a new look and I hadn’t updated my avatar in like forever. So I decided to go with a really cool custom picture. That sister is Super-bad and blue! Of course, if you change the avatar then you have to change the rest of the page too.

Although I\'m using a picture as my avi, I uploaded an updated version of my simself. You\'re more than welcome to download her. If you like her, please remember to click that recommend button.

NOTE: The only cc on my sim is her hair (NewSea) I think. Everything else is from "The Store" covering the base game to Fast Lane.

What now?

Just my point of view on this whole fiasco.

This whole thing has left a very bad taste in my mouth. As far as I’m concerned there is plenty of blame to go around on both side.

EA’s communication or lack there of is nothing new. I do blame them for letting this get to a point where once again things got way out of control. My belief is that people are innocent until proven guilty. As for Alexis, I never once doubted her innocence as we have contact outside of these forums. As for the others, I have no clue what their situation is and can not comment on them. I could care less. As for Kerby, well I will say I don’t like liars and thieves. Grouping the innocent with the guilty, I feel was a huge mistake on EA’s part as it only added fuel to the fire and forced people to choose sides. As well as the “unknown reasons“ left room for rumor and speculation. I do appreciate them finally making some type of statement, but it still leaves a lot of room for doubt.

That said, I feel this forum has become less of a community and more of one similar to a class system. One of have’s and have not’s. Just because someone can’t imagine gifting thousands of dollars in simpoints; doesn’t mean the person gifting is guilty of doing something illegal and should have to prove that they worked hard for what they got. Do you question your favorite athlete why they have a room full of sneakers? Because they have money would you dare tell them how it could be better spent? I think not. Why should people in this position have to justify why we spend the way we do? It’s our money!!!

So, I still have mixed feelings about the whole situation. I still feel there is room for improvement as to how EA treats their customers. Not just with the Sims series, as I own other EA games. So I personally have not left the FB group as I think they have raised some other valid issues. I am still undecided as to which direction I want to take and will continue to think about it.

As far as gifting, I have not changed my mind and will not continue to gift. The main reason is and it might just be a me thing, but I do not feel the same way gifting on this site as I did before. I now have the feeling that “if I gift someone” there will always be a little question mark as to why? I noticed this as I finished off some of the gifting I still had not completed over the weekend. To me there will always be this cloud of doubt.

Somehow, even though I know I haven’t done anything wrong, I have been made to feel guilty because I CAN give. And until I can personally shake that feeling, the gifting for me has ended. I don’t know if I will ever gift on this site again or not, who knows. If anything, I have come to find a lot of people here to be very judgmental. But I do want everyone to know that if you have ever received a gift from me, you do not have to feel any guilt what-so-ever because I spent my own money.

This will be my only statement regarding this situation on this site.

I'm really ticked off!
POSTED ON 10/09/10
I\'m really ticked off over the bannings of Alexis and Kerby. I\'m going to finish gifting those that I had promised to gift then I\'m done.

I had planned to buy those simpoint cards in bulk also, so that I could gift they way I wanted to for Xmas. Last year I gifted every active simmer that was in my friends list and had planned to do the same this year. The only way for ...me NOT to hit that $200 per day limit was to buy those cards in bulk. Someone had posted that idea I believe when I added the 10,000 extra simpoints for Alexis\' gifting spree a while back as we "BOTH" hit the limit that day.

I have over 400 friends in my list! If you multiply that by $10.00 per person or more, well you do the math. Well sorry to say I\'m so ticked off about this whole thing that Xmas on the EA forum has been cancelled!

This is the same thing I posted on Facebook and I might as well post it here too. And to think I passed up playing WoW at half the cost for this.

NO "EA" YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING MY MONEY BECAUSE I\'D RATHER SPEND IT ELSEWHERE!!!
