More specifically, the article talks about the \u201Cquiet-yet-wonderful touches without applause\u201D elements that make an RPG stand out as memorable as well as enjoyable. It is not a coincidence that the Sims 3 game does incorporate RPG mechanics and conventions to a certain extent \u2013 more so with the release of World Adventures \u2013 which has helped the game reach such critical acclaim and success. To be sure, some of the things discussed in the article are certainly feasible for World Adventures and future Sims 3 EPs. Combined with other gameplay innovations that EA can and will come up with, we can be assured that the Sims 3 series will be a successful one for many years to come.\r\n

Spore - Coming to a Theatre Near You!

According to The Hollywood Reporter\'s Heat Vision Blog, the film rights to Spore have been acquired by 20th Century Fox to create a CG animated feature based on EA Maxis\' evolutionary game. Director Chris Wedge - who has previously worked on Ice Age and Robots - is slated to direct while the screenplay is being written by Greg Erb and Jason Oremland.
