We Want a Peaceful World!

If we want peace in this world, we need to stop having wars. We also\r\nneed to stop sending our surplus food over to countries like Haiti and\r\nAfrica. When we do that they are stuck using their land for stuff like\r\ncoffee, cotton, cocoa, and rubber (cash crops) and can\u2019t use any of\r\ntheir own land for their own food. That means they go hungry because\r\nthey can\u2019t afford the food we \u201Cgive\u201D them. That means they leave their\r\nland to \u201Cthe women\u201D and other male relatives to take care when they go\r\nto the cities to try to get a job there and is fruitless because a lot of other farmers are doing the exactly the same.
That\r\nthe story of how Haiti became so poor. They were dairy farmers and sold\r\nmilk between themselves. One day the Untied States exported dairy from\r\nUnited States and that made the Haitian farmers\u2019 milk became expensive\r\nand that why they went to the city to find jobs and it was fruitless\r\nand many could only find part-time jobs .
\r\nWe also need to be open minded of other races and religions. What did\r\nMartin Luther King Jr. say in his I HAVE A DREAM speech during the\r\nCivil Rights movement? He said I have a dream that my four little\r\nchildren will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by\r\nthe color of their skin but by the content of their character. One day\r\nright there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able\r\nto join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and\r\nbrothers. We might not live in Alabama or the United States but the\r\nsame still applies to the whole world. Another part of his speech\r\nsaid: And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we\r\nlet it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and\r\nevery city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God\'s\r\nchildren, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and\r\nCatholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old\r\n***** spiritual, \"Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we\r\nare free at last!\" That is almost true with Obama being president in\r\nthe United States. We should allow our immigrants to get the j ob\r\nthey are qualified for and not be stuck with jobs like taxi drivers.\r\nOur countries should not send our auto industry jobs down to Mexico or\r\nthe country\u2019s businesses outsourcing their telecenters to China and\r\nother Asian places. Henry Ford once said: There is one rule for\r\nindustrialists and that is: make the best quality of goods possible at\r\nthe lowest cost possible, wages possible. Also they should hear this\r\nsaying \"See the forest for the trees\u201D. They need to understand the\r\ncycle of economy and how the government works.
