Ok so I originally posted this in an EP idea thread a little while ago, but I wanted to store it here also. It is a cound idea and I think it would do well market wise. It has enough of what players are asking for and something new added in to keep it fresh. Hope it is do-able.

This isn't so much an original Idea, just a cohesive cobbling together of Sims Survey ideas in a way that they could work nicely. You could do big business, OfB and Farming all in one.

Sims 3: Big Business

Want to rule the SimCity Stock Market? Have a monopoly on Sunset Valley?
Dream of running your own Store Front or chain of Franchises?
Or Justs making a living off the land?

In the Sims 3 Big Business, you can do just that an more. Your sims could play the stock market, invest in Bonds or CDs, or Take out a starter Business loan from the bank. Get online Federal Grants to start a home business or small farming operation.

Sims can build their business from the ground up or just buy out everyone else's to form a mega corperation. Sims can start their own Store, Home Business, or Farm.

Features:

Playing the SimCity Stock Market from Your Sims Computer

Being able to own/operate your own business as a store front community lot or Home bassed business.

Being able to own multipule Businesses and hire sims from your neighborhood to run or ruin them for you.

Farm your land, and grow your future fortune from the very land itself.

Banking system including a bank community lot were you can store simoleans, turn them into saving bonds, Cds or apply for loans. (Small Business, Home Equity) Have a business? You can have both a household and a business account, and transfer money back and forth. Also a Banker's Career Starting at teller to bank Manager.

Grants would also be available after filing a short appilcation from online or the bank, Loans and Grants each have their perks and drawbacks. Loans have a higher interest rate, and grants take longer to pay off.

Professions:

Certified Public Accountant
Earn your sims certification at the Courthouse, Then S/he can hire themselves out to fellow sims of small business in the neighborhood, or work at the business office, Hospital or Courthouse.

(This would also be used to introduce a Tax system and an self contained economony to the game.The economy would be effected by the businesses in the neighborhood/world)

Real Estate Agent
Buy, Rent, Sell. Prove you are in it to win it! Make a name for yourself in the Real Estate niche. Opens up the option of selling houses for money, buying and fliping homes to keep or re-sell. You can also become a renter's mougal, providing housing to your fellow sims.

Being a small or mega business owner in this EP would also add new game play. And if it is set up right, there's a job for every sim, and every sim could own and operate a business in their world.

You want to own & operate a Nectary, you can do that. You want to run a day spa, you can do that. Tired of everything Rabbitholes, we got you covered too.

Say Betty owns the Bar and hired several of her neighbors to run it, Bartender to Waitress, to janitor. Or Maxim bought every one in town out, and he pulls the strings and rakes in the dough, without inprovement, leading to upstart home based businesses out selling his crappy chain stores. Or the Simple sim making a living with his/her own two hands on the farm, with large stock animals, cash crops and more. What path will you choose?

The Latest Live Chat was Astounding, I loved the professionalism and well planned out presentation. It was just great in all respects, very informitive, there wasn't a huge immaturity factor, it included the community. I was just impressed and then some. This LC for Seasons + more was redeeming.

I love the respect and thought put into it towards players/fans and it was juist a better experience. The presenters did better with Q & A, the Demos more entertaining, The nessesary questions were asked and answered very well. I just really enjoyed this new approach to it all.

It wasn't a mindless restating of everything we already knew, they were able to tip their hand a bit and give straight forward answers to the best of their ability without repeating the same phrases over like a weird mantra.
