They\'re pretty odd cats! They have very long, muscular tails, that wrap around things like an extra paw. They all sleep together in piles. None of them is a lap cat, unfortunately, but they do like to hang out with me and lie next to me in bed or on the sofa.
I think I\'ll also sim my two favorite cats of all time, who are now sadly departed. Playing with them in the sims will be my chance to be with them again :)

As a vacation spot, Hidden Springs is a lovely destination. However, I felt something was missing. That something was a seedy roadhouse, out in the woods, at the end of a lonely road. So I built it.
It\'s a very simple, small lot. I\'m a bit embarrassed that it doesn\'t contain a lot of difficult building features, but then again, I like to actually play the game. So it\'s rather simple, but a fun place to take your sims. Its small size means you won\'t lose your date in a vast nightclub, and you\'ll really have to cozy up to the local denizens and get to know some new sims.
I left the stage open for a reason: if I place instruments in a club, visitors inevitably stand there watching the pianist all night, and it\'s BORING. So there\'s a stage where your own sims can busk if you like, but after the song is over, sims will come over and dance, go to the bar, and play darts.
It comes complete with seedy restrooms, though the ladies\' room has flowers. No CC. May contain WA, AMB and definitely contains NL items.
The other missing building was a ski cabin that I actually wanted to buy as a vacation home. Again, I wanted a fairly small lot. I didn\'t need room for a garden or entertainment areas, since there are places to go in town. I\'ve always liked those A-frame cabins with walls of glass, and I was really missing a house I used to rent up in the Sierra Nevada. So the Sequoia Lodge captures some of that spirit.
I wish the game had some loft windows that would fit in the corners of the roof, but I didn\'t want to use CC. I know you can get a set of those - check MTS or Einfach Simlisch, if you want to add them.
It\'s not so easy to place lots in HS. I pictured having the cabin up on the mountain, but didn\'t want to saddle players with a sloped lot. So I tucked it in between two houses near the waterfall. It has a wonderful view off the deck.
The inside is quite open. There are three bedrooms total (the whole top floor is a Mistress suite), and 2.5 baths. No CC, but does contain WA, AMB, and NL items.

The thumbnail makes him look like a pitbull, though he\'s more like a short coated husky or small German Shepherd. His tail isn\'t as curly, either, but I don\'t think there were custom settings for the tail.
He\'s a great dog, very well behaved (except when someone leaves mac n\' cheese lying around). I found him at K-9 Lifesavers . He was about to be euthanized along with a bunch of other dogs at a shelter in South Carolina. I don\'t know anything about his life before we adopted him. You, too, can save an animal\'s life! Check out Petfinder.com and search for your next companion.

Wouldn\'t it be a treat to hang out with the multi-talented Alan C u m m ing? He\'s Scottish, he\'s vegan, he\'s bi, and he has his own fragrance! Come to think of it, I should have used more eyeliner on his sim, hmmmm...
My married sim fell head over heels for him immediately, the little trouble-maker! Then he asked her to move in to his tiny starter home, she refused, and they had a falling out. Which probably saved her marriage >..>
I had little notion of his traits, favorite food, etc. He wears a lot of black and gray, with the occasional orange or pink shirt, and looks great in red! So I chose black for his favorite color. Probably way off the mark, but you can change anything you like when you have him at your mercy in CAS.

I challenged myself to build a 10x10, the smallest lot, and make it a family home, because I always need more family homes. I ended up with another box, but it\'s rather nice box, I think! I didn\'t want to use crushed stairs, because I hate that it makes the walls all funky.
It has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and breakfast nook, for under 25K. I have no idea how people make houses for under 15K, or whatever EA\'s starter amount is (I use Twallan and Awesome, so my sims are not reduced to living behind the diner.) Anyway, I really like windows, in case you couldn\'t tell.
As usual, no cc except patterns. It may have stuff from NL, AMB and WA.

She tried everything to get pregnant. Woohoo became a chore. She even tried artificial pollination. But each pregnancy ended in miscarriage. It was extremely frustrating to see her sister and sister-in-law pop out kids, when all her own efforts met with failure. She considered adoption, but she really, REALLY wanted a kid with her husband, James.
The couple finally came up with a radical solution: James would bear the child. Since Gisele works at home, it meant they get the pregnancy days together, so she could help James out when he got too tired and needed a massage. Best of all, James got pregnant right away and didn\'t miscarry!
He thinks his paternity panties are kind of dorky, but most pregnancy clothes are. Keep your fingers crossed for the lucky couple!

The salient thing about sims hairstyles for men, is that most men in RL have really boring hair, or simply short haircuts that aren\'t available in the game. So we end up giving them cute hair, but then they don\'t look very realistic :P
Here\'s another shot of my Alan gnimmuC (trying to spell it backwards - the website won\'t let me display his REAL last name, d\'oh!):

He\'ll be arriving soon in my studio for you to download, if I can only remember where I got his hair >..>
