About the basements in my studio:

I forgot to say that they can be built on and used any way you choose. They\'re just basements. I know how to build them and some people don\'t, so I put some out there to be enjoyed. No need to credit me on these particular items. They\'re easy to build and impossible to identify as having been dug by me specifically.

I built another pretty nice community lot, but it won\'t upload. I guess I\'ll just have to keep it to myself then. I may downsize it some and try it again at a later date. I think it may be all the custom wood I used in it. Maybe if I just try to upload with default colors it will go. But it won\'t look as good, so maybe not.
Anyway, I\'m just here killing time while I decide whether or not I\'m ready for another car payment. The one I\'m driving is 8 years old, paid off, and falling apart. It would be cheaper to get this one fixed than to buy a new one. I\'m also considering leasing. With the recession I\'m just not comfortable with the thought of another big bill to pay every month.
I refuse to even pay for cable tv. I had a dish for years, but one month my payment got to them one day late. They cut me off and charged me a late fee before they would turn it back on. I got ****** because there wasn\'t even a grace period, so I told them to send me my final statement and kiss my money goodbye. That was about three years ago, and I\'m still mad at them. That\'s no way to treat your customers. I had a valid reason for being one day late, but they wouldn\'t budge. Before that I was always early, and still, no joy. Screw that. Every now and then I miss Animal Planet and H&G TV. I miss National Geographic and Discovery Channel. But I don\'t miss that handful of channels enough to pay for 90 bajillion channels I would never watch. I work too hard for my money to be handing it out like that.
For the first time in years I\'m not living hand-to-mouth, and I enjoy not having panic attacks when I open the mail box. I\'m not wealthy by any means, and I would still have to scrape to get the graphics card I\'d love to have. But I do okay. A car payment right now would not be wise.
I think I\'ve just made my decision.
