Dancing Nebula - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7608974
Dance the night away in the light of the stars at the Dancing Nebula. If the galaxy isn't spinning fast enough for you, sit back and have a few drinks at the bar, then get up and test your celestial alignment all over again!

I noticed my game acting up a little while taking photos. I'm not sure if it's because I had too many party lights and things going on all at once or if it was just my system being weird. If it is the number of lights and such, you can just go in and delete some of them.
Enjoy!

I think there was too much work and not enough play at certain parts, but oh well. Enjoy!
You want an hour long Let's Play video?
Well too bad, you'll have to settle for one that's only 55 minutes long.
(Time flies when you are responsible for the lives of six very misbehaved Sims, just putting that out there...)

Chaos on campus! Academic anarchy! Spirits will rise as grades drastically fall!

The video has a bit of skipping around because I would sometimes say something and then looking back on it found it unnecessary or contradicting, so I left out the extras to make it as simple as I could.
Also toward the middle I started to get kind of quiet since my brother was in the room at this computer. It bothers me that I'm talking and making noise, even though I'm pretty sure he doesn't care. I feel like a bit of a nuisance that he might be restraining himself to get up, or to laugh at a video he's watching. But blocking his presence out the way he's likely already blocking mine is something I just need to learn, especially since he's pretty much always there unless he's sleeping (we're both computer dorks, so when we're home we're usually in front of the computers).
It'll come with practice, so I hope you'll all be patient with me.

As always, enjoy the photos and the videos! If anything wasn't clear with all the skipping around, or if you have other questions or recommendations, let me know!

From left to right:

Chris Wakefield - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584297
Chris loves riding horses, and sleeping. And sleeping while riding horses. Even sleeping horses, he loves those, too.

Aaron Clark - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584292
Aaron is a natural-born singer. His greatest desire is to sing a song that will spread endless peace and love throughout the world. If anyone out there knows of such a song, please contact him via the e-mail on his resume.

Trevor Mitchell - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584287
Trevor enjoys swimming. Whether it's the warm seas of the tropics or the coldest lake in the frozen north, he'll be the first to dive in. Unless there are sharks wearing lasers in the water - you have to draw the line somewhere.

Jeremy Bostwick - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584306
Jeremy can't get enough of man's best friend. He wants to be friends with every dog he meets. So is it strange or impressive that his favorite food is hot dogs?

Steven Swift - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584304
Steven is the kind of guy who knows everything. Unfortunately, he also forgets all of it.

Daryl Hamilton - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584294
Daryl has it all - good looks, brains, and money. But looks aren't everything, ignorance is bliss, and money doesn't buy happiness.

Bradley Cooper - http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7584302
Bradley loves adventure. He lives for adventure. But can he live through an adventure?
~ As always, you can click for full-size images so you can download them and do things with them that I'm probably better off not knowing about ~

I was going to make a full set of eight, but for some reason my game barked at me about having the max number of Sims in my household when I only had the seven and I entered the Pre-Made Sim section. I didn't even have any mods.
Speaking of which, all of these Sims are made with only default content (but there are some store items, at least one or two of the haircuts). No CC skins, contacts, clothes (at least there shouldn't be, but apparently I had some old ones in my download folder that was appearing in my game, but I'm pretty sure I avoided all of them), so what you see should be what you get, unlike Ryan.
I hope someone likes these. If you do download any of them, enjoy!

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this one. Not quite as riveting of a premiere video as I hoped, but, I think it still came out well.

http://youtu.be/-Vm4_sXI1i4
Real quick before I get to the link below:
The video is currently unlisted - for those of you unfamiliar with YouTube, it means the only way to get to the video right now is by knowing the link below. It's not listed as a normal video that you can just find by going to my channel, so only people who read this DD forum will know to view it. I did that since this particular video doesn't have a standard introduction, and is pretty much just for you all - I figure anyone who is unaware of the DD crew wouldn't really understand why I'm explaining the residents.
Second, I wasn't going to bring this up, but I apologize for any weird speech patterns you may notice from me. Hopefully when I get more comfortable they might go away (I loathe public speaking... I'll do it when I have to, but I just stumble on my words all the time).
Third, I do acknowledge two or three points in the video when the game sound was as loud my voice (at 26:37, something happens that I was not expecting, I just want to warn you right now that it's as loud or not much louder than the rest of the video, but you might jump a little - I won't completely spoil the surprise, LOL! ), I'll lower the game sound a little in the future. It was hard to gauge how loud the game is compared to my voice since the game volume can jump dramatically based on positioning, so I couldn't tell how accurate it was from a quick test.
I hope you all enjoy!

Because of that, I had to split up this post into two.
--------------------------------
Looks like I'm going to be using FRAPS to record my videos, which means they won't be compressed, which means it'll take even longer to upload them than I expected whenever I finally get around to recording one.
But in the meantime, I'm announcing the roommate assignments, along with the unique bedrooms. I hope everyone likes their roommates and their space!
First off, I forgot to post any pictures of the laundry room and the party room, so we'll start with those.

Laundry Room
Party Room
I forgot to turn on the Nightlife lights before I took the picture, oh well.
Now on to the roommates, starting from the basement, and working upward to the 5th floor.
Basement
Justin Flower - Single apartment with shared bathroom
I redesigned this one a couple of times, and this was about when I realized what colored lighting can do for you. Since Justin has the Star Quality , I figured I'd give his room a party feel with blaring music and dancing.
Carina Lancaster - Single apartment with shared bathroom
This apartment was when I first realized that torches by default are set to give off Flame-colored lighting, which gave the room a warmer feeling than most. I actually found this to be really relaxing, almost romantic (I'm not sure that's the word I'm going for, but it's the one that keeps coming to mind right now).
First Floor
Devon Landale & Jason Conrad - Double apartment, single bedroom
There wasn't enough room for two bedrooms, but since they're long time friends I figured this was the only grouping where I could let that slide and just put two beds in the same room. The bedroom itself wasn't anything special, so I just opted for a photo of the living room instead.
Second Floor
Adella Torres - Single large apartment
If any of you already downloaded the lot, you'll know this whole apartment was a pink overload. Since Adella's favorite color was white, I changed most of the apartment over to that. It's simple, but I think it's perfect for a normal, fun-loving girl.
Anne-Marie Boeren - Single apartment with shared bathroom
I gave Anne-Marie a more artsy kind of room. Just something I think an artist would love that has a hint of beauty and style.
Alton Winford & Tisen Shiro - Double apartment with shared bathroom
Alton is athletic, so I went with a room that I think any jock would enjoy. But I also hung a movie poster over his desk to show everyone that he has more interests than just sports.
Tisen's room is kind of a cross between a bedroom and a karaoke place. Perfect for practicing in privacy before going out and serenading all the ladies.
Speaking of the ladies, it looks like Tisen and Adella live on the same floor. Coincidence?
Adam Slade - Single large apartment
Adam is a bookworm, so I gave him plenty to read. I think the little dragon picture above the bed shows off his love for fantasy books, and brings out the kid in him.
Ryan Michaels - Single apartment with shared bathroom
Bedroom was nothing special... his collection of arcade machines made for a better picture.
Ivy Malone & Torrie Davis - Double apartment with shared bathroom
Ivy loves cats - she's not just an animal lover, she's a Cat Person ! She also loves to read, so I simply combined the two, with focus on her favorite color of blue.
Torrie's room is average as far as interests, but I gave it some feminine charm and added various stuffed animals in the room to appease her love of animals.
I just noticed that Torrie and Ryan happen to live on the same floor... their apartments even share a bathroom. Perhaps they'll run into each other, and Torrie will have something else to love in her new home.
Fourth Floor
Ellen Curry, Pepper Ximph & Winged Paladin - Triple apartment
I wanted to give Ellen's room a more homely and classical feeling, something with elegance.
I think this is a nice, casual room that anyone could just relax in, without being boring.
By her name and appearance, I figured Winged Paladin would be someone who loved fantasy and role-playing games, so I designed the room to have more medieval and fantasy furniture.
Jennifer Sims, Lauren Ramsey & Morgan Anderson - Triple apartment
Originally this room was made for a movie lover, with all the posters and memorabilia. I added some art items and a trendy bookshelf in the room to match Jennifer's traits. I really like the combination of colors and themes in the room. When I see her in there, I can imagine Jennifer being a sophisticated person with interests in art and film.
Lauren is another bookworm, so this room I had already built with its own library and a theme of pink and red was perfect for her favorite color of pink. It's very comfy looking - a place you could read all day and lose yourself in plush comfort.
This was another room where I went with a theme before putting the Sim into it, which was an adult who was still a kid at heart. Filled with lots of toys and stuffed animals, Morgan's room is on the other end of the apartment away from Jennifer and Lauren, which I thought would nicely suit her loner trait. But I'm sure she'll warm up to everyone eventually!
Fifth Floor
Kasey Jackson & Tina Gil - Double apartment
Kasey's room is simple and organized. It has plenty of space for her to explore her artistic talents, keeping the clutter out of her room and out of her mind.
I don't know why Tina is playing a cello that she has in her room. It's just something someone with the Star Quality trait would do... yeah, I'll bet that's it. I think it has that aura of admiration for stars, and the sense of her aspirations to become one.
Jenn SimSelf , Jodi Bishop, & Laura Holt - Triple apartment
Since Jenn is an animal lover, I thought this room that I had designed for someone who loves horseback riding would be a great fit for her. Her adorable kitty carpet adds to her love for all things cute and cuddly.
This was the last bedroom I worked on. I originally didn't have a theme since I made the room first and placed Jodi in afterward, and when I went to take a photo, I noticed it looked pretty awful. After playing with some items, I decided to give it an oriental theme (no one else has this on the lot, so I figured it'd be a fun change) utilizing furniture from the store sets, and using the red and dark woods as a theme. I also incorporated her favorite color into the lighting and some of the objects.
Laura's room has more workout equipment to suit her athletic tastes. I placed a surfboard on the wall, as well as some other gear (which are outside of the picture) in the room to show off her desire to stay fit and healthy. I thought the board on the right wall would show off all of her old friends from her high school (or university days), and how much she loves to have fun with everyone.
