Ecila Grove
ENVIADA EM 25/08/09

New lot up tonight (finally). I wanted to get it up on Friday but didn\'t have all the story pics taken. Then wanted it up on Sunday but the exchange and froums were playing up so I didn\'t want to risk it but tonight it finally went!

\r\n

Had a few problems though. It\'s my entry for the Intermediate-Advanced BnS category (Anju put me up a level *eek*) so it had to be under $75, 000 and I struggled! I really struggled. The first version cost $49, 000 just as a shell with no decor, furniture or landscaping! Needless to say that got scrapped but I\'ve kept the shell and hope to finish it off as a bigger version of Ecil Grove. That will probably be my next project once I get this cliff house finished that I\'ve been working on for 8 weeks now (or however long it is) LOL I really must stop putting it off lol

\r\n

I\'m very happy with how Ecila Grove turned out. Especially the back sunken patio which I\'ve wanted to do for ages. I\'m also really happy with the kitchen, living room and main bathroom. They ended up with exactly the feel and style I wanted with the sligthly 70s retro look. This is probably the first BnS house that I\'ve been proud of as a house and not just as a BnS entry.

New Project!

Today, just to further put off the 4 storey, 4 bedroom house I\'ve been working on for weeks, I built the shell of my next house.

\r\n

I\'ve had this really neat idea for a garden ever since I did Jagged Edge (I did think about using it as the garden for JE but there wasn\'t really enough space) and have been stuggling to think of a house idea that would work with it... but no longer. I now have the perfect house to try out my garden idea. Now I just have to hope the garden works the way I think it will :D

\r\n

The house shell is a bit of a mix between Jagged Edge and Ocean Spray at the moment, with a bit of CFE thrown in for good measure. It\'s got some elements that a lot of modern build uploads have been using recently but I think it still feels like one of my houses. Not that I\'m sure what my houses are at the moment as I seem to be doing things all over the place and even my moderns are all rather different. lol

Driftwood Fixed and re uploaded
ENVIADA EM 18/08/09

Driftwood is back up, fixed and confirmed as working by someone who was having the problem. Really sorry for the issues and I hope those of you who had problems download the new version instead.

Sorry!

Issue with Driftwood
ENVIADA EM 18/08/09
Due to the problem textures I have removed my driftwood upload, will change them and reupload later in the week.
First Post YAY!
ENVIADA EM 15/08/09

Uploaded my lastest lot late last night, Driftwood became the newest addition to my houses. Decided to try out something different and do a smaller beach house in a more traditional and less \"modern\" style. I keep making beach-side houses but not beach houses so it was time for a change.

\r\n

But it was a pain! Trying to get the downstairs to all work together took about 3 days longer that I intended it to. It was supposed to be a quick build: built decorated and landscaped in a day and instead it took 5! My next one will hopefully be easier.

\r\n

I\'m currently working on a 4 floor, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house for 6 sims. I\'ve been working on it for about 5 or 6 weeks now so I\'m really hoping that I will have it finished and ready for download by next week.

\r\n

I won\'t be entering BnS this week either... I just can not do recreations and do not enjoy building com lots so I would not find it as interesting or fun as normal but I hope to join in again next week.

Smile!
