Sims can catch both butterflies and beetles in The Sims 3, as part of the Collecting skill. Bugs are caught via the \"Catch\" interaction when you see butterflies fluttering in the air, or beetles crawling on the ground. Different types of bugs can be found in different places, and it may take your sims quite a while to locate the rarest and most valuable bugs.
Bug Collecting can be used to earn money. You can sell beetles and butterflies directly from your sim\'s inventory, though selling them to the science facility will earn you even greater money.
You can also place your bugs in terrariums simply by dragging the bug out of your inventory. Terrariums can be placed on the floor or tables, and can stack up to four high. You don\'t have to tend the bugs in the terrariums once they\'re placed - they simply become a living decoration that your sims can view.
You can give your bugs names, whether they\'re in inventory or in the terrarium.

I chose the one million hours before food spoils, because I hate to see that horrible green mass seeping out of my nice new fridge. Ever.

- 16 hours: extends the base amount of time before food goes bad to\r\n16 hours. This is probably more realistic than the default 10 hours.
- 24 hours: extends the base amount of time before food goes bad to 24 hours.
- So choose your poison and save a meal!

Anyway, it is the one where sims with the Handy trait suddenly come to a halt,\r\ndisplay a hideously idiotic facial expression, and proceed to spend the\r\nnext several minutes tossing a wrench into the air looking really\r\nstupid. You know the one!

Finally! A mod to eliminate one of the biggest peeves among several awful new\r\nanimations in TS3: the one where sims screw their faces up into a\r\nseries of really appallingly idiotic and ugly facial expressions while\r\nstanding idle.

\r\n\r\n- Deathfish: The Deathfish only comes out between\r\nMidnight - 5 a.m. In Sunset Valley you can find the Deathfish in the\r\npond in the middle of the graveyard. In Riverview you can find it in\r\nthe river a little ways above the graveyard. When the Deathfish arrives\r\na small little cloud of fog appears above the area it is in. If you\r\ncatch 10 Deathfish, you can stock a pond closer to home with them, and\r\nhave Deathfish at any time of day.\r\n
- Best Places to Fish: The best places to find fish are\r\nwhere the fish are jumping out of the water. Each spot generally only\r\nhas specific types of fish too. Use \"Inspect Water\" to see what types\r\nof fish are there. You may not be able to see all of them at your sim\'s\r\ncurrent skill level. The Collection Helper Lifetime Reward can help you find hot spots.\r\n
- Stocking Ponds: To stock a pond you need 10 of the same\r\ntype of fish. You can stock a pond with any quality of fish as long as\r\nyou have 10 of it. Saltwater fish survive just fine in freshwater\r\nponds.\r\n
- Perfect Fish: You are more likely to catch Perfect\r\nquality fish when catching fish that are at least 6 levels below your\r\ncurrent fishing level.\r\n

I promised myself that I would tweak my Sim Self last weekend and what did I do? I made Sim-Me twins. (insert disgusted look). Why did I do that? Well, see, I was all set to upload and noticed for the first time a twin option! How cool is that? And what a time saver! So now there are two of me. But, since we can\'t upload two Sims as Avatars, I get a reprieve! Yes, I will be making another new me very soon. No, I won\'t commit to a specific date, as not to disappoint the procrastinator that is moi.
\r\nSo look for a new blondee/Maria, well, someday. Hopefully before the new EP is released. (insert rolling eyeballs).

It\'s funny, most of our Sim-Selves look nothing like us, although I have seen a few that are close. When I made mine in a rush right after getting the game, I realized major tweaking was in order. If not for anything else, just to get rid of the \'Leno chin\'.
I am making this a priority for the weekend. Let\'s see if I make improvements or make her even more laughable! This is not my fort\u00E9 .
