I'll Sim Sometime.
POSTED ON 08/30/12
I've been wanting to sim, but I have other obligations that have been keeping me.  I did do a standard legacy game with my Angela Christos Character, you can find her here  .  I got her married to a guy named Roberto...at least I think that's his name.  I haven't played in a little.  He was a little bit more difficult to get her married to him.  They had two wedding parties, but the first one he started acting weird when she tried to marry him, (call me maybe situation perhaps?) Anyway, so she argued with him then told everyone to leave.  What I found interesting, is that he looks like the magician I was originally basing my Legacy founder off of, all emo and stuff, and he's a singer which makes me chuckle a bit.
Recently I've been working on tweaking a Fire/Consignment/Junkyard lot for a forum contest for Lunar Lakes which you can find here .  Which reminds me, I need to enter it!  Time to go take pictures! I'm off!
Legacy Challenges
POSTED ON 08/18/12
I recently thought of an addition to the Legacy Challenge for all the simmers out there, like me that like to kill off sims.  It's called the Black Widow Legacy Challenge.  Basicly it's the same as a Legacy, except your Founder and Heirs have to kill off their spouses, and by the end of the legacy you have to have every ghost Death possible.  Cheats are still a no-no, you'll have to make them croak the old-fashioned way, however with the addition of the cowplant you have a quick and realatively less sadistic way of getting a starved ghost.  Well, depending on how you look at it.  You can play with it being a matriarchy or a patriarchy if you want, but if you want it to truly be a Black Widow challenge, it must be a matriarchy.  I'm still working on a point system though.
Another Legacy I thought up yesterday would be a Tron Legacy challenge.  This one's a little different in that you have to buy nothing but futureshock items and use the lunar lakes map.  The most expensive lot is the 64x64 and does not bring your money down to $1,300 like in a normal legacy, however, limiting your sims to only Futureshock items will keep them from purchacing a whole lot...I'm still working on this, and mainly it's just a person with very techinical skills in a futureshock house...like I said, work in progress... but here's the sim I made for it: Yori Quorra Flynn
You can find her in the exchange Here

I Got Stuck!
POSTED ON 08/17/12
I've been getting stuck in the mire called the internet!  Yesterday, when I should have been dutifully playing sims, I was instead watching an Evangalist preach 100 reasons why Evolution is stupid.  I got half an hour into it I think before I started falling asleep...but anyway, I haven't been playing my sims like a good little girl.  I kind of want to make a person from scratch and start my "Legacy" again.  Maybe remake Desire free of unsanctioned CC...I think I will...I think I might! Onward to making a Legacy again!
Wow...

Either Fate wants them to break up, or they're having doubts about their marriage because just before his midlife crisis ended one of the wishes that popped up for Adrian was break up with Molly. Luckily before I could make space for it the crisis ended and the desire left him...It does make me wonder though...and now he wants to have yet another baby with her...We'll see...I think I'm just going to kill her off...
No One's Dead...
POSTED ON 08/14/12
Well, I saw posted somewhere that if you play the kid's radio station on the radio in the same room that your pregnant sim (who doesn't have fertility treatment) is watching the kid's tv channel you have a greater chance of having twins or triplets.  I had to try it since my sim's wife became pregnant so now they have twin girls. It works, apparently, and none of the sims are dead.  I was tempted to kill off the wife, apparently she started talking to a guy on the phone and he became a romantic interest.  I made her tell the guy that she just wanted to be friends, but the fact that she was even remotely unfaithful to my sim (which I put little to no effort into the making of) it just made me upset for him.  I may still kill her off...as soon as she has their other child lol.
I tried! I tried so many times!

I tried to kill my new sim...he wouldn't die... I set his kitchen on fire several times, and the fire kept missing him! So, fine!  He gets to live so that he can get married, have a baby and THEN die!  I got some graph paper, so I can now map out houses I want to make! Yay!
Blarg!

My prediction that last night wouldn't be a great simming day for me was dead on.  I got enough time to take a guy from the bin and put him in a house before I was too tired to try to kill him...sigh! Well, I'll eventually get around to killing sims, but first, I want to make stuff for the exchange that other people can enjoy!
I'm off again!
Went on Vacation
POSTED ON 08/10/12
I went on a vacation and was without sims for a week...mass murder of sims did not happen, because I'm trying to see if the idea is a sound one first.  Now if it is, and I can kill them all THEN change their ghost status I'm in business for making my cemetery!  Wish me luck!
*UPDATE* Well, the first ghost I changed the status on the tombstone came out to play...it's a no go.  You can change the status of the tombstone all you want, but the sim will keep the ghostly characteristics of their death. Period...
And now my game got so glitchy that I had to try to start the game over...only I'm stuck in the town overview...so now I've reset the game to factory settings, and am downloading all of the stuff from the store I've gotten over the past two years...OMG!!!! It's not a good day for simming me...
