It was a very typical winter\'s day for the last day of winter. It was cold, wet and grey. It has been the second driest winter on record so we really need the rain. I just unlocked the Blogmaster badge that was a nice surprise.

Freo Way To Go

After having their best start to a season ever and then in the last six weeks having bad injuries and more than a few losses. My footy team (AFL) the Freo Dockers won last night by one goal in the last game of the regular season. Guaranteeing a home game for the first week of the finals next weekend.

A bit sad

After 5 years of doing their weekday afternoon radio show Hamish and Andy have announced that from next year they will only be doing a weekly 2 hour show. They are such silly lovable idiots and they always tackled the big issues such as do penguins have knees, are funsize Mars bars getting smaller etc.No matter what was going on in real life or how bad your day was you could turn on their show and be sure that at some point you would smile or laugh. Its two hours of total silliness and there have been more than a few times in the past 5 years when I have needed some silliness.While it is just a radio show I am more than a bit sad.

Beautiful Vista

My Mum\'s is on holidays so we drove to the Swan river and went for a walk. It was cold but it is a really nice place to walk. Looking at the multi million dollar houses right on the river I couldn\'t help but think you would definitely get the beautiful vista moodlet from living there. Just need to win lotto (probably a few times) to afford it.

Daffodils

When I was looking at the garden today there were a few daffodils out. It made me smile a sure sign spring is just around the corner. We really need it to be a wet spring as it has been the third driest winter on record. When I was playing sims the other day I had turned my sims sprinklers on and I forgot about them. I felt bad for wasting water and I had to laugh worrying about wasting virtual water.

It is a cold and cloudy day and I have been sick all week. Everyday I have been putting my guess in for the Daily Deal and I didn\'t expect to win it was just a bit of fun. So I was really sad to see that it was closed and to read why it was closed.

Winter

We have had such a cold and dry winter where I live. It had been the driest start to August for sixty years. We are hopefully going to get some rain in the next few days. We don\'t get snow as it is to warm but we have had a quite a few morning frosts and some ice. I really miss having weather in sims 3 I hope that they will add that after Late Night.
