I\'ve deleted almost all the CC I installed last week. Yep. Good thing we\'ve got all these b.u.t.t.-ugly default clothes to decorate. Oh yeah.

I caved and installed some mods to get the game to run smoothly. Long live Twallan! Huzzah! With mods and my store DLs all was well. Then I got greedy and HAD to have some hair. Then while I was \"shopping\", I HAD to have some shoes. Can\'t have all that without new clothes, so HAD to have some of those! And now my game is crawwwwwwling.I haven\'t even gotten to see the new stuff in CAS yet. My current fave sim lives on one of the big lots on the hill in SV. I deleted the mansions and fixed up one of the lots with some things she can use, and she has a lot with almost nothing on it. It drags. When I leave and come back it takes an hour in sim time to load. All she has are the following: A small kitchen with good appliances (outdoors); an easel; dresser; small garden; bookcase (all outdoors); and a small enclosed bathroom. She keeps a sleeping bag in her backpack so she can fall out in the park after work, and she can eat for free at the bistro. She has a job, but she calls in a lot. She\'s thinking of quitting, since she\'s making a lot more money and having more fun by gardening and collecting. Well, I\'m having more fun, anyway. Or was, until I thought I had to have all that cc. I miss my TS2 days when I had over 10,000 items in my DL folder and the game ran like a dream in a three-story mansion on the biggest lot.They have made it nearly impossible to enjoy this game the way we became accustomed to playing in the old days. If they decide to go with a TS4, I think I\'ll have to sit that one out. I can\'t deal with any more of their glitches and crazy ways. I can\'t even use World Creator for fear of it killing what there is of the game for me. I loved World Creator. Boo hoo, poor me. Soz. It\'s that kind of day. I\'m off to uninstall a bunch of cc so I can get something done in the game without waiting a day and a half for it to load.

Driving me crazy, they are. I\'m in the process of downloading an update. Will it fix anything or make it worse? EA\'s reputation has me cringing. Happy 4th of July!

Previous entry was meant to be 3 separate paragraphs. Even after editing it came out one long blob, so just chalk it up to more lovely surprises from EA.

I\'ve got everything installed and have been playing for a couple of weeks. Had a duh moment and ended up reinstalling from base to Generations when I thought the game had messed up my sound. I updated all the drivers, ran tests, checked connections, ..... Turns out I had somehow just turned off the sound and not noticed it. Like I said, Du-uh. Oh well.One of my favorite families became corrupted and now they aren\'t related to the other hundred or so relatives. I hope we don\'t get dazed and confused and end up married to one of them. I built them a huge house - may be too much for my computer to handle. It\'s time to start thinking about a new one anyway. In order to get it all working in the first place I had to break down and put the game computer online to get the updates. It wouldn\'t work for me manually. So far no mods and no CC except what comes from the store. I think I\'ll keep it that way this time around. I miss World Creator dearly, but can\'t risk it again. Maybe when I get a new machine I can use the old one for that kind of thing. Then it won\'t matter if it uninstalls itself and ruins everything.Nuffadat. Long weekend and lots to do.
