I love the magical Gnome.  I got my first and only one when my sim was fishing, I unfortunately cannot remember if it was in the ocean or a pond.  I\'ve also heard you can find them in the Catacombs when you tour the Mausoleum at the cemetery in Sunset Valley (I haven\'t played Riverview).  Some other people mentioned finding them while their sim was dumpter diving (digging in the trash can of neighbors).  Those are all the places I\'ve heard of finding the Gnome. :-)

I was going to try to replicate the house that I had built the first time, but was unable to remember the whole floor plan...bummer.  So I decided to just build a small starter home.  I really haven\'t built many homes for Sims3.  The building tools are nice, but different  from Sims2.  Most of the things are easier to do, but it is new so it takes some getting used too.  I still struggle with custom roofs.  I really haven\'t built many homes on uneven terrain.  Can\'t seem to get the hang of that either.  Well I guess practice makes perfect.  So I uploaded my small cottage and it didn\'t do so well.  I advertised it as a starter home.  I think I did OK for the exterior, but seemed to lose my way when I was trying to decorate the interior.  I think I lost some of my creativity when I lost the first house I built, I guess I was still stewing about the loss.  So I will try to build another home, but not for awhile.

Need to actually play my game.  I\'ve been on the forum or creating items or Sims lately.  My poor Sims lives are just on hold! hee-hee.  Hope everyone is enjoying their game!

So I stayed up last night trying to start that house that I\'ve been saying I was going to build.  Was up til 5:30 a.m. this morning.  It was almost done when the game crashed!  It has never done that before...I thought why noooow!  I was almost finished decorating.  I was going to save before I was finished building, but then got some idea and totally forgot about it!  Moral of the story, save, save save. :(

So I just got up and haven\'t had my coffee yet, yawwn.  So once I get a cup I guess I\'ll start over again, this time I will remember to SAVE!

Well haven\'t been playing my game much.  I\'ve caught the creating bug.  I decided to upload all the custom clothes I created when I made all my custom Sims for upload to the exchange.  It never occurred to me at the time to upload the clothes separately.

I have also been upgrading the house for one of the other families I had started.  They only had a 1 bd, 1bth home.  The remodel was so much fun that I decided to try my hand at making a starter home for upload to the exchange.  So  I will be working on that for awhile.

I\'ve also spent some time on the forum reading what everyone has been doing and seeing if anything new is going on with the game.  Just the same complaints and people making random threads to try to chat it up since they have no way of talking to each other privately on this forum.  I must say there have been some very humorous threads that made me laugh til I had tears flowing and a pain in my stomach.
