Apocalypse Challenge (Part Two)

Time has passed quickly since the last update and things have changed drastically in the Raevynne household!
Tashira and Conner are the proud parents of two children now, Hope and Chance. Hope is determined to be a Special Agent and Chance is determined to be a Forensic Analyst. These two have hit their teens and are learning everything their hungry minds can learn. They are the future of Sunset Valley and so far, it looks very promising!
Conner did the amazing and managed to become a Star New Reporter! He hosted a huge press conference and invited all the leaders of industry to attend. Little did they know that the federal labour enforcement agents had also been invited. Confronted by the federal agents, the labour leaders agreed to follow the proper labour laws . (parts in italics are directly quoted from the Apocalypse Challenge)
Tashira has not made it to Astronaut yet, and she is worried. The strain of time has begun to show and she has slipped in to her elderly years much too quickly for her peace of mind. Still, she works diligently to build a huge security force to take on the zombies plaguing Sunset Valley. Will she achieve her goal before the Grim Reaper comes knocking?
The once small compound has grown two more floors, straight up. The front is still windowless and the stairs and landings are guarded with high wrought iron fences. On the back of the compound, however, they have installed huge windows to make use of the daylight as much as possible (remember, there are no lights). The skies are still clouded and hazy and the nuclear winter still remains, but any extra bit of light helps... It especially helps the sanity of four people cooped up inside an 8x8 structure meant to keep people out instead of making comfortable, those within.
And here I leave you .. until next time. If there is a next time. Will this family survive? Will the other three members of the household accomplish their Life Time Dreams to change the world for the better? Or will the Grim Reaper come knocking and destroy all their hopes?

Apocalypse Challenge

This is a pretty intense challenge but it is so much fun! I created Tashira Raevynne as my, I guess she would be the new Legacy founder. You can see her here: Tashira Raevynne ,

So far, Tashira has gotten a job in the Military so she can eventually be an Astronaut and clean up the streets in Sunset Valley so citizens can once again visit the park and their neighbors!
Tashira recently married one of the Frio brothers as well and is expecting a baby any day now. Sadly, some babies have been still-born or worse... Disturbing mutations are part of everyday life in Sunset Valley now. Tashira prays nightly for a safe delivery at home, since the hospital is closed.
Connor decided to tackle the horrible working conditions created by the greedy after the devastation to Sunset Valley, so he joined the local paper in the hopes of outing all the rotten people and freeing workers from the Dark Age working conditions. He\'s very dedicated and is climbing the ladder more quickly than even he thought.
These two brave souls and one precious innocent are all that is standing up to the flood of disasters left behind after the nuclear meltdown. Will they change the world or will the new world destroy them?
