\r\nGuess what, I completely forgot to post yesterday telling y\'all how the short movie was coming along. I\'d intended to include a few snapshots of some of the rooms in the house that the movie was filmed in. Well, you\'ve had longer to wait for an update, and plus the suprise is even bigger this time round it\'s the finished article.
\r\nBefore I start commenting and evaluating my first proper Sims 3 Machinima, you might want to looky-here and watch it:

\r\nFirst of all, I\'m really quite proud of the finished product because not only has it matched up with my Storyboard almost perfectly, but also because the lighting effects I added to the video in the editing stage brings out the true colour in my recorded clips. At the moment the colours that my game records in are quite dull, however not dull enough for a spooky, creepy rainy day kind of movie...
\r\nGoing back to what I said about the storyboard, I\'d decided on the music track beforehand, and trimmed it down to 50 seconds. Knowing this, I drew out the storyboard and wrote timings underneath each square so that I knew how well the piece would fit together. The third quarter of the movie follows the Storyboard very little, because I found that my initial intentions didn\'t look as good. But hey, this is my first ever machinima planned by storyboard...

Hello Blog!
\r\nI haven\'t posted for a long long time, as I drifted away from this site when EA decided to moan at me when I told them that my username was being read as an offensive word. However I am going to grin and bear it...for now.
\r\nThis afternoon, I decided to start my \'career\' as a Sims 3 Machinima Artist. No longer will my main focus be houses and buildings, oh no. I\'d told few friends this a while back, and decided to start out with little short movies as opposed to long, complicated, voice-overed series about teenage romance and car accidents.
\r\nHaving trouble deciding on a amusing and entertaining simple storyline I actually sat and thought for quite some time. Eventually I managed to draw up a Storyboard - yes I actually drew out a Storyboard - for a comical short that I have started work on.
\r\nTomorrow I\'m going to crack down on finishing the set, and starting to film. That\'s one of the obstacles with Machinima - your buildings and sets need just as much detail as your highly rated and favourited lots, the filming itself is not going to take too long...fingers crossed.
\r\nWell, there\'s more things I\'d like to discuss, but now I\'m off to bed.
