Wow it feels great to say I\'ve been simming!! I really missed playing Sims 3!!

I\'ve noticed that the patch has fixed the square bushes when you turn smooth edges on, but it still does slow down the rendering, so it has to stay off.

I decided to play my Hughes family, after a bit of playing ,Jack Hughes grew up into an adorable toddler, see him here.

Chloe was pregnant and she gave birth to baby Kayleigh (named after her mum), she\'s got her mum\'s eyes so its ftting that she\'s named after Kayleigh Gibson the one who started the whole family, see Kayleigh Hughes here.

Just as I was thinking my simming experience would be uneventful I underestimated Chloe, she seems to be unlucky even though she hasn\'t got the trait, anyways she started a fire simply making some waffles. Not to worry though, Jared came to the rescue and got the blaze under control, his brave genes are showing :-) Not sure why he didn\'t get Jack out of the way though, he left him in the same room as the fire.

Later that day Chloe grew up, looking exactly the same as usual, so not really worth me taking a picture lol. 

This made me laugh a hungry Chloe goes looking for Jack to put him down for a nap, but can\'t find him, so just stands there rubbing her growling stomach. She managed to find him in the end once I crossed off the action from his action queue.

Well that\'s all the simming I\'ve done so far, unfortunately I had to stop for food! :-O Off to do some more though! :-)

Yay laptop should be here tomorrow!! Checked UPS tracking and it\'s already in GB, in Barking, not sure where that is, but it won\'t be long now - yay!!!!!!

I cannot wait to play sims 3, gotta put all my other programs in but Sims 3 is top of the list to go in, I need to play my Gibson family so badly!!

Roll on tomorrow lol! Good job too, I was running out of books, finished the Wicca series the day before yesterday, reading Harry Potter book 6 so I know what they cut out of the film, but that won\'t take me long to do! :D

Well the thing came for me to fax the other day, I faxed it, and managed to find an english speaking person today who explained what they did, which was clean the CPU fan, and she said they\'ll be finished with it by Monday so will send it out then, which means hopefully by Friday I shall have my laptop back - yay!!

I cannot wait!! I have a week then, and then I\'m off on holiday :-D

Yay TheSimMan won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He got the creative prize, which is great, because his page was definitely the most creative, and now he can relax because he\'s got a laptop that will definitely play The Sims 3 and will help him continue with his studies :-D

God knows when my laptop\'s coming back, the thing for me to sign still hasn\'t come, why they chose snail mail to send it, I have no clue, email would have been quicker, but they said that most households don\'t have more than one comp, yeh sure because this isn\'t the twenty-first century, I think Fujitsu Germany needs to wake up and realise what century they\'re in.

Anyways congratulations to TheSimMan, he deserved to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well TheSimMan is shown as second, but its obvious the person in first is cheating, but oh well, cheaters never prosper so hopefully they\'ll find them out.

It is boiling out there,well only 21C but it feels a lot warmer, went up town for a christening present for my friend Sarah\'s child and wow it was warm.

TheSimMan has made some animated Gif files of Sims 3 characters on his page, check them out here. I really want him to win, so if you want him to also, support him on the same link, and make it so he can play the game and continue his studies with a working laptop :-)

Talking of laptops I rang Fujitsu and they gave me a number for the repair centre in Germany, many calls later I finally reach a human, who spoke bad english, its funny but a lot of foreign people do the same thing she did, which is speak English at about 10 words a second I mean my brain can\'t process sentences that quick, so it took a lot of repeating for me to get them to understand that I only wanted the overheating problem fixed, not the headphone socket as well (which I broke in my haste to get to the door to get Apartment Life by tripping over the headphone wire). Even after all that they have to send something for me to sign saying I only want the warranty repair done so that will take time.

I\'m even more impatient for my laptop now because I need it to start revising and of course to play The Sims 3. This laptop doesn\'t have Word on it, which I need, mainly I think because my brother wiped it when he had it from me and he never put it back on, and the Word I ran on my other laptop won\'t work I don\'t think because that was for Vista and this is still XP. I might have a poke about on the Acer website and see if they have Word on there to download.

Ok I\'ve calmed down now, I kind of got a bit worked up, I was just shocked by my accountancy result and it made me doubt myself. Becca helped me to realise its just a resit and that I can do it, if I put my mind to it, which of course I want to! I should worry about the future of my degree if I fail the resit, which I shall try everything to not to. Averaging my results, its not as bad as I first thought, I average with about 61 which is still a 2:1 I think

Ok well enough about my life lol, TheSimMan\'s put a funny update on his page. Cracked me up, especially the flying monkeys bit, check it out here.

With the whole being upset bit forgot to say my laptop landed in Germany earlier, so tomorrow I\'ll ring Fujitsu and see how they\'re getting on with it :-)

Ever wished you\'d not looked at something, I\'m feeling that way right now I looked at my Uni results and they weren\'t what I was expecting, and now I\'m thoroughly confused, should I be at Uni or what?

I failed my Accountancy exam, thus meaning I\'m going to have to resit it :( My other marks wasn\'t that amazing either, I\'ve always been a A/B student, and those marks didnt live up to that, I passed all the other modules, my favourite module Marketing I only got 48 in the exam, so what am I doing?? I\'m so confused, what if I\'m not up to passing this degree, my second year is an important year, some of the modules count towards my final mark. I did well in my Business Management module though, so I think I should take that next year definitely.

I love Uni, I thought I was doing well there, well I was in my first year. Right now I wish I could just be a sim and have someone to tell me what to do, because I don\'t know, I really don\'t.

I hated Accountancy, I dont want to resit it, especially as it will be in just over a month\'s time :(  I hated the lectures and I hated the seminars, the formulas and such just refused to stay in my head, what if I can\'t pass it? I have no idea why I\'m saying about it here, I just needed to... I dont know release some emotions or something.

Hopefully when I write next, I\'ll have a clue what I should do

Oh god Sims 3 free-less days are hard to get through, I have no idea how TheSimMan manages it, I\'m dying to play the game!!

Talking of TheSimMan he\'s second now :-O So yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But unfortunately the person in first has a load of supporters, I wonder how people manage to get so many supporters, maybe they get everyone on all their social accounts (e.g. faebook, myspace) to join :-S

Being home alone doesn\'t help either, my brother joked yesterday and said it was like big brother - day 1 of no Sims - well ha-dy ha - not lol - and it\'s more like day 5, because for 4 days I didnt sim for fear of blowing my laptop up lol. I have no idea how to pass a lot of time without the sims 3, god I\'m sad lol.

My Uni friend Alex wasn\'t very nice about it either, he said too much simming caused it to break down, but as he doesn\'t sim, he doesn\'t understand the pull of Sims 3, I couldnt stop playing it, and The Sims 3 didn\'t break it, it was working fine then decided to go and get too hot!

I still havent found out if I\'ve passed my second year of university, which is driving me mad, most other courses know if they\'ve passed but not the Business department - grrr at them!!

My laptop\'s in transit according to the UPS site, and should reach Germany tomorrow - so hopefully they\'ll start fixing it and then I can get back to normal lol.
