How to get my patterns

I am not going to over advertise these, so you may miss some. Just look in my studio under Objects
, as I will be uploading the patterns on mostly beds.
The first of the uploads is the Flower Power Bed , which has 4 different patterns associated with Flower Power. You are free to download and use it in your own game, or to use it in uploaded lots. The patterns were custom created by me, so please don\'t claim you made them. Other than that, I don\'t need credit for the patterns. Mind you, if you want to thank me, it would make me feel happy if you did mention I made them. But... meh.

So I am logged in on the site, but have to log in again on the forum? That is just weird... I think it\'s a temporary glitch. But if not, meh.
I am keeping my eye out for some new sims communities. Such as Builder\'s Boulevard , where you can hang out with other builders and creators of sims and patterns, and stuff. Even if it doesnt have my fave forum type, it is still a more fully functional forum then here, because there is private messaging! And profiles with comments :)
Anyway, just stored over 200 images for my upcoming legacy story. I am now making notes so Five can write the story, at some point. Then, I\'ll upload it to a new and improved Sims at Five and Dae . It\'s been a while since we updated that site with a new story.
So I will be making a new header... some new images... and I still have 2 requests to make for lots, and a few patterns. Plus we\'re having the dogs stay over tomorrow. Time is not plentiful :)
Still, I have my tea... and my cookies. Oh, and I will be baking cookins as well this weekend. Yay! it\'s been a while since I was so domestic... But nothing beats the smell of freshly baked cookies... Unless it is freshly baked bread. Which just takes too much time.
Okay then.

Correction: Five managed to download and install them once, but that must have been a fluke. So, the only way to get to the patterns is to download the Yellorange house. Patterns will be removed. Dhame huh?
But! Feel free to use them :) Just do not claim you made them yourself. No explicit credit needed.
Edit: I do hear that for some people they do no get into the game properly or at all. So if you can\'t use the patterns via download, download the Yellorange House, which has the patterns in it so they are usable.

Pattern Problems?

Apparently there are some patterns on the exchange that don\'t work when downloaded separately. I am having mine test-downloaded later today. After breakfast. Which will be after the boyfriend wakes up. Who will also be the tester for today.
I don\'t have a lot of time this weekend. That is ... is there any word I can use that won\'t be censored??? Anyway. I hope to be actually playing a little more at some point. Maybe create a few new patterns, or finish one of the three houses I started on. Or start a fourth house!
I am getting a little hungry now. I guess I should wake the boyfriend up. Have fun today!

Okay. I have 99 recommendations in total. I never thought I\'d get above 50 or so in total. So I am kinda overwhelmed, happy, giddy.
You may think that giving a recommendation is a small gesture, but trust me, for those who build houses and create awesome looking sims (okay, I lack in creating awesome looking sims...) it really means a lot. It can mean the difference between starting and uploading a new lot or sim or object ... or not.
A HUGE thank you to all who recommend, anything, anyone, anytime. You rock.

Ah, another weekend about to start

I think I\'ll be uploading a house or so this weekend. Maybe a new one, maybe one I built earlier. I dunno.
But we do have a busy weekend planned, outside of playing The Sims 3. I actually think that is not a bad thing. Playing any game for too long leaves me all tired, exhausted and bored. Doing other things just makes me enjoy playing The Sims even more when I do have time for it!
I\'d also like to inform you guys over a new group project that is starting to take shape. Mmyoko came up with the idea of starting a builder\'s handbook online, and Norville has set up a wiki and a phpbb forum . Now, you should check it out, if ONLY for the supberb phpbb forum (which is less ***** than the one they\'re using here).
So if you like, check out Sims 3 Builders . You\'ll like it. :)

Some ideas for the weekend

Yes. My weekend starts on Thursday evening. Our plans for this weekend are .. to enjoy the sunshine and to work on random stuff.
I\'ll be trying to create a lot with the Palace on Dam Square before tomorrow evening. I also have one or two new houses to finish and upload. And I am going to spend a little time making a few more sims for my own use.
It\'s warm here. So I\'ll quit playing and go offline.
But not until after I tell you about the Royle Family I have running around in my neighbourhood. So jim Royle died, leaving Barbara alone in the big, empty house. Since Denise and Dave moved out they had their two kids, who by now also moved out and started their own families. Baby David now has a baby of his own called Orlando. And Norma Tallulah has twins. Anthony and Emma are still together (I could not bear breaking them up) and their babygirl Louise is now a stunning teen, and their son Rory is just about to turn child.
ButI am really waiting for Tenisha (not my choice of name) Bradley, the daughter of my sim-self and my boyfriend\'s sim-self, to grow into a young adult, to start my own type of \'legacy\' challenge. I am not going to not play other sims, I know this. So Tenisha Bradly will move into the biggest lot on her own, and be part of the neighbourhood. Which is now overrun by Royles. So she may very well end up with a few Royles in the family. I am also going to make that into a story, I promise.
