There will be other starter homes later, but for now, this will suffice. :)
Pastels Collection for Clothes
POSTED ON 06/09/09
Well, I\'ve found the hex color code for the light green and light blue pastel colors.  Blondes always look better in pastels, while brunettes look better in jewel colors, and redheads always look better in neutral/natural tones.  Although if I want to get technical, brunettes also look good in neutral tones.

In the meantime, working on pastels, since that\'s the one color I\'m not seeing as much in the game.  I\'ll probably throw some more light green in there, but light blue is probably complete.  When downloading, please please please recommend the item while you\'re there on the download page.  Do that for anyone you download something from and you\'ll have a greater chance of finding better items on the exchange in the future based on recommendations.

A mid-size family home perfect for the bachelor or bachelorette or even for a small family.  3 BR, 2 1/2 BA.  Complete with combination kitchen/dining room, great room, study, and currently with one of my Sims in her pastel blues.

Uh oh...we got our mod!

The nudity patch is out!  Usually I wait for modthesims.com to have it, but this one was perfect.  No extra junk added because I hate \"realistic\" nudity on the Sims just in case Will\'s grandkids decide to come over during the summer.  Barbie doll-style suits me just fine.  So far, working perfectly.

First Impressions of Sims 3
POSTED ON 06/06/09
Well....it took more than one impression to actually start enjoying the game!  The first impression I had was hating the socials, hating the camera, hating the story progression, and hating the forums.  Oh, and hating the fact I had no more memories!  OR a piano.

Now that I\'m more used to it (after 5 deletions of the Sunset Valley file), I love it!  Would love to add custom patterns, but the tut on modthesims.com was like almost over my head and I have neither the time nor the patience to deal with it.  It\'d be so much simpler to be able to import a pattern and be done with it, but the game-makers just HAD to make it hard. :)  However, The Sims Workshop is on the horizon, and should be a little more simpler to deal with.

I haven\'t made any CAS Sims yet other than my avatar, but I hope to have some to play with after the story progression toggle fix has come through.  At least my husband agrees that my Simself DOES look like me.  As soon as I figure out what traits he should have (athletic and party animal are definite), I should have some time to make him too.  Until then, playing with the premades.  Or playing with already established storylines in Sims 2.
