Toolin' Farm_by ehaught58
POSTED ON 06/30/09

Toolin\' Farm_by ehaught58.  This is a set of 3 lots that when put together make up the Toolin\' Farm.  The house lot is residential, the garden and barnyard are community lots. You only have to buy the house, but you can harvest the crops from the other two lots.  Also, you do not need to tend to the fruit trees or crops... makes life much easier.

Colonial Secret_by ehaught58
POSTED ON 06/22/09

Colonial Secret_by ehaught58. Built in 1850 during the era of the Underground Railroad, what secret does this colonial house hold that is only known to a chosen few in Sunset Valley.  Stories passed down from one generation to the next tell of people seen entering the house but never seen leaving, only to be found somewhere else in town later.  4+Br, 3.5Ba, very nicely landscaped with a growing sunken garden.  Play-tested for quality assurance.

How do I get the Log Lake House into my game?
POSTED ON 06/09/09

I have had several emails from people asking me how to get the Log Lake House into the game.  It is easier to place the lot in it\'s original location than it is to try and fit it in another lot somewhere else in the neighborhood.  Find the Pinochle Pond lot on the outskirts of town in Sunset Valley.  Change the lot to a residential lot.  If you don\'t know how, here is a tutorial that explains it.

\r\n

http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=468

\r\n

The tutorial coincidentally uses the lot for this house in the story.

\r\n

After you have successfully changed the lot from community to residential, you will need to bulldoze the lot before you place the Log Lake House in it.

\r\n

I hope this helps and I hope you enjoy playing the lot.  :)

Church Sims_by ehaught58
POSTED ON 06/08/09

Every town needs at least one church. I built this lot at the base of the hill from the cemetary in Sunset Valley. A cheery place to sit and meditate, or read the Good book. Spend some time with your family in the playground area, or go fishing in the pond. All around fun and wholesome goodness.

Yeaaa, I Got It!
POSTED ON 06/03/09

Well, I finally got my copy of the Sims 3, and I just love it!  I am already working on my first house and it\'s looking great.  I have been having some problems with the Store, and getting my download of Riverview, but I can wait for them to fix that as there is plenty to do in Sunset Valley.  I have noticed some changes in the game since I played it back in January.  For one thing, I don\'t remember having to put in a parking space before placing a car.  I am sure I will catch a few other changes as I play the game.  If you don\'t see me on here much, you know I\'m building!  lol

Welcome, my old (and new) friends.
POSTED ON 06/01/09

I am so happy to see soooo many of my old friends from the Sims 2 here.  Thank you for requesting to be my friend.  There are quite a few names that I have not seen for a long time and it feels like a family reunion.  If you changed your screen name when you moved from Sims 2 to Sims 3, let me know when we are able to message each other.  If you are new to the Sims, I would be more than happy to be your Sim friend and help you out anyway I can.

\r\n

Welcome aboard, everybody!  This is so exciting... just one more day to go!
