The Fates must have a sense of humor
POSTED ON 05/18/10

Amazingly, I ended up with a 92% on that Algebra test... which for me is outstanding! :) The kids finish with school next week. I unfortunately, still have a few weeks left of my classes before a two week break. That is the drawback to accelerated learning.

Looks like my one day of working per week is turning into one day per month. The small businesses here are still hurting and cutting every corner possible. This includes my $25 a week. Guess groceries will be cut back again. The upside is more time to study... Yay? No, really it is a good thing I suppose. Just a bit burnt out this quarter.

Writer's Block

My outline and first draft is due tomorrow morning and I only have one somewhat incoherent page finished. Inspiration, muse, anyone... ?

Check Engine lights and other nonsense
POSTED ON 05/07/10

It looks like the advisors don\'t want to change my concentration from nursing to something else... just frustrated. A block from getting home the check engine light came on and I just got everything checked yesterday, seems a little suspicious. I am suppose to be studying for my algebra midterm this evening and it feels like all I have done today is spin my wheels. *SiGh*

Computers, computers, computers
POSTED ON 05/06/10

I think I made my mind up... I hope I have anyway. I am letting my nursing dreams go. The programs are just too competitive here. I am a little disappointed but I think I will enjoy working with computers as much and they don\'t complain as loudly as patients ;)

What I want to be when I grow up...

Wish I knew, it is long past time to have answered this question... and yet here I still still undecided. I have to choose my path tomorrow morning. I am not sure there will be time to change my mind, perhaps it is for the best. Enlightenment, please come visit me.
Forgotten Legacy
POSTED ON 05/03/10

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I had gotten to generation 5 on my legacy and at that point I must have downloaded too much cc, because with that many sims etc... my game takes forever to do anything. Grrr... I miss my sims :(

I really wanted to go to college?

I think I have done it again... committed to more than I should have. Between the kids, school and here... I feel like I am not doing my part as well as I could.
