Game crashes and missing items due to Windows making changes on your computer

Using the Windows Explorer folder, Click on and open these items in order:

Windows (C:)
Program Files (86x)
Origin Games
Game
Bin
Sims3Launcher.exe

Now highlight and copy Sims3Launcher.exe

Go to whichever folder has corrupted files in it. On my computer, both SavedSims and InstalledWorlds had been corrupted (altered by Windows registry).

Click on the first item in the file to highlight it.

Then right click on it to open a menu.

At the bottom of the menu, click on Properties.

In the Properties box, you will see "Open with:" followed by "Choose an App" if it doesn't say Sims3Launcher.

If it has anything other than Sims3Launcher, click on Change.

This will pop up a new box for you to fill in the app you want to use. To the right of the open box, change the file type to *.exe.

Then click in the empty box, and paste Sims3Launcher.exe in the box. Click ok.

You'll now get to select Sims3Launcher from a list of applications.

Do that, and it will correct everything in that entire Sims 3 file folder so that they are now functioning properly.

To easily see the current and next two daily deals (so that you can take advantage of the discount), let your mouse pointer hover over the word Store above on the blue line.

This will cause a menu to pop up under Store.

Slide your mouse pointer down to Daily Deals and click.

That will take you to the current Daily Deal, and show you the next two deals.

This is also one of the pages in the Store that frequently provides the opportunity to gain free SimPoints by watching sponsors ads.

On the left, if there is a bonus point ad available, you will see a blue rectangle with the words "Get Bonus SimPoints: Compliments of Our Sponsor!"

Click on that box and it will open a short video ad. On some of these, you have to click once on a play arrow. Most ads last 30 seconds to several minutes. When the ad finishes, a new box will pop up that tells you thank you. Click on Okay, and you will be rewarded with 5 SimPoints.

When the ads are working correctly, you get 5 SimPoints per ad.

Another place you will see these bonus point opportunities is on your wishlist. Basically, they will show up on any page that has to do with the Store.

Home Remedy Topical Antibiotic

Linda Lee's Topical Antibiotic, Moisturizer, and Oral Rinse

My recipes are based on study of natural topical and oral antibiotics.

At WalMart, in the beauty supply department, you can purchase empty 4-ounce and 8-ounce lotion bottles. I recommend the bottles with the flip lid and little hole on the cap. They do not leak, and they dispense the solution better.

For this recipe, I recommend the 4 ounce bottle.

Ingredients:

2 ounces liquid Vitamin E with Keratin
1 ounce Orange Extract
1 tsp Peppermint Extract
1/8 tsp Tea Tree Oil

Always shake well before using.

May be applied to all skin except the eyes, as eye tissue is thin and absorbs everything.

Information on ingredients:

The Vitamin E is your base and moisturizer.
The combination of Orange Extract and Peppermint Extract fights infection. They produce a very nice fragrance, too.
Tea Tree Oil is an anti-fungal and antiseptic. Smells like turpentine to me. :o) Be sure not to overdo the Tea Tree Oil. A little goes a very long way.
The Tea Tree Oil may be left out of this solution if you don't want to use it.

Skin moisturizer:

Leave the Tea Tree Oil out.
In its place, add 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract or Almond Extract. Or 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract plus 1/2 tsp Almond Extract.
Together with the orange and peppermint extracts, they provide a very pleasantly fragrant solution.
Apply to skin, avoiding eyelids.
May be used before applying makeup.
May be used before applying your usual moisturizer, unless your moisturizer has a wax in it. That may cause your moisturizer to "roll".

Other benefits of the solution:

Helps eliminate splotchy skin.
Helps eliminate cysts.
Helps reduce scars.
Does not kill the good bacteria/flora that lives on our skin to fight infection.

Oral Antibiotic Treatment:

May be used as an oral antibiotic treatment, too, but do not swallow. Swish and spit.
Definitely have the Tea Tree Oil included for an oral rinse antibiotic treatment.
I would also recommend diluting the solution with Distilled Water to use it as an oral rinse. In this case, use the 8-ounce lotion bottle.
After pouring in the original recipe, fill the rest of the bottle with Distilled Water.
Or pour half of the recipe into another 4-ounce bottle, and fill the remainder with Distilled Water.
