\r\nA lot of things in RL kept me away for a few months but now that I have some time, I think you will be seeing a new blondee.
\r\nOh, jeez, I\'ll need to change my sig avatar as well. Meh.
Downloads, here I come...clothes, hair, furniture...yes!
Well, as you may have read, my harddrive is driving me bonkers. I mean I am the type of person that, if I can\'t figure out or solve the problem, I just throw out the offending item and start anew. I am tired of deleting half my files, only to gain a few gigabytes.
\r\nI started with 80GB which was more than enough for all of my Sim2 games. Barely made a dent. But with Sims3 I have 23GB free of 80GB! The only thing other than windows files on my computer now is the base Sims3.
\r\nSooo, tonight I said enough! I can\'t play the game in earnest because I am afraid I will lose it, not to mention the fact that no more EP\'s, Stuffpacks will fit. You have 23 GB! you say! BUT-when I had the base game, the EP and SP installed, I had only 7 GB left! Weirdness, you say? I totally agree. Something is way wonky. But I digress.
\r\nTonight I ordered a new Harddrive. Yes, a new one. How big, you might ask? 1TB!! Yep, that is 1,000 GB. Hah! Let\'s see what happens now! OK, I will be totally crushed if this doesn\'t \'fix\' my issues. Crushed, I tell ya! But I will be optimistic and hope that all this HD stuff just means my HD needs replacing.

Haha! Why do I have all of these purple \'shrooms on My Page? (OK, no need to go there, I don\'t dance the psychedelic shuffle), BUT the question remains: Where are these little purple \'shrooms coming from? :D

Why does my computer show that the base game is taking up over 7GB? Before installing the first time I had a boatload of HD space. It is surely a coincidence that all the space (except 20GB) is being used.
I checked Program files and it contains basic Windows files as well as Adobe reader and Flash (which I was instructed to install so that I could view this site).
Rambling here, probably not being as concise as I could be...bedtime! But one last shout out...Help me Obi-Wan; you are my only hope! : (

Oh well. Yesterday my SimPage was in German, so why be surprised?
Coincidently, I downloaded the World Adventures EP yesterday so possibly the EP put a jinx on my SimPage. It couldn\'t possibly be a glitch, nein? : )
Anyway, I picked a \"throwaway\" Sim (what? You don\'t?) to go to China to deliver a painting that was asked for and while she was there I tried out one of the Adventures. It had to be a \'beginner\' adventure, because my Sim managed to complete it and gained a few coins, relics, stones,Visa points etc., in the process.
Since she didn\'t kill herself, I suppose now, I must allow her to live. Oh bother.
