Just got done lurking the forums and all I can say is wow.
It\'s bad enough that we have to deal with an apparently unstoppable super-troll who stalks people\'s pages and pollutes our threads with hateful remarks and nasty nude pictures, but now we also have to worry about so called \"upstanding\" members of our community indulging in \"noob-baiting.\"
I mean, I get it--A LOT of thread on the forums are repetitive and deal with issues that simmers could easily look up themselves but that doesn\'t give anyone the right to respond with rudeness or sarcasm. Simply skip the thread or provide the information or link requested (which most of us have saved anyway) and move on. Getting involved in a multi-page squabble over something so trivial makes ALL parties look foolish.
And I also get it that anyone can have a bad day and make an off-hand, snarky response but I see it happening more and more and with people who I honestly thought were above this kind of behavior.
If I wanted to wallow in a festering cesspit of human excrement, I\'d hang out at MATY or the comments section of MS3blog with the rest of the hyenas...

I made a blog entry about this in December but I think I\'ll try again.
I\'ve been getting some friend requests lately from people with hidden pages. As a general rule, I usually decline such requests. If your page is hidden, I\'m sure you have your reasons. Please understand that I also have my reasons for not accepting such requests.
