Stinkin' Badges

EA did a maintenance the other day that allowed us to filter some of the uncontrollable spam we have been getting since they implemented the new changes to our "facebook" like my page. Of course they ended up messing up my badges, from what I read on the forums and the official "my page" thread, I'm not the only one with badge troubles. It's a cryin' shame they just can fix something w/o breaking something else.
It appears that any badges that you have duplicates of have been eliminated/deleted, how can they think that is an OK thing to do?? I mean 'cmon some of those badges were gifted to me by different people and the featured badges I earned for different items that ended up being chosen by them to be featured! So how can they just delete them w/o thinking we wouldn't be upset.
If they didn't want us to have multiples of the same badges, then the store shouldn't allow people to "buy" duplicates of what we already own.
So I posted on the official complaint thread for our "my Page" and of course my post didn't get an individual response from the Sim Guru Ruski '<-spelling?' and she's supposed to be off this weekend and Monday. I posted on that thread before and I never got a response, which is why I ended up just deleting my friends list with the exception of 2 people. So I guess I will have to wait until Tuesday to find out if she will ever address the badge issue.
This place used to be fun, now it's just a pain in the behind to be here, which is why I rarely come here anymore ...but just because I'm not here as much anymore doesn't mean I will allow my page or any other privileges I have as a registered member to be denied to me, I paid for my membership just like everyone else and I expect everything to work properly when and if I choose to use it.

P.S. I noticed that two of the three badges I chose to display on my page are missing, so I found them still checked. So I decided to uncheck them and did an update, lol now it's showing two featured members badges. I tried to recheck the other badges I had displayed before, but now I can't check any of the boxes for my badges. Good Grief!!!

April Showers

We've not had much rain for April, it's been cool and sunny.
Although the weatherman did say we might have some rain later in the week, but it's supposed to get down to the 30's tonite and we will only be in the 40's for the next few days. This Spring has been on the cool side, I'm not complaining mind you. I'm enjoying the cool breeze, it's nice to air the house after being closed up for winter. Summer will be here before you know it and I'll be missing this cool weather. 
Well hope everyone had a nice Easter, guess I really haven't been around this site much. Honestly I'm not sure why I bother with this blog
, I guess old habits are hard to break. Then again, I've always written this blog mostly for my own amusement. So for now I'm at least trying to make a monthly post.
