Well I haven't worked on my junkyard or my house! I got distracted by badges again. But I did complete 2 badges that were giving me trouble: Going the distance (Jogging) and Profoundly Perfect Dishes - Have Sims prepare 200 perfect meals. Yeah! maybe today I'll finish off the junkyard.
My first house creatiom

I started my first house. I forgot the garage until after I completed the house exterior and had to move the entire house over. Also, after picking out all the right finishes for my basement I found out I don't know how to make stairs when there is a foundation. I decided just to create external stairs for now and hope I can fix it later.
It's a lot of work and my Sims are patiently waiting by the mailbox! I'll blog more progress and pictures later.

The perfect Junkyard

Yesterday I decided I would build the perfect junkyard. To be superior it would have to have the following:
1.) A full bathroom with shower in case my Sim gets singed.
2.) A barbeque in case my Sim gets hungry.
3.) A comfy couch and bookcase to attract other Sims so my Sim can meet them.
4.) Huge junk piles to explode.
5.) Lots of discarded furniture to keep or explode.
6.) What would you like?
So I built it with all of the above and sent my Sim to detonate a junk pile. The whole place went up in one big explosion, shower and all and my Sim was lucky to make it out alive. Needless to say I am still working on it.

Thanks to everyone who has rec'd my studio items. I am really grateful as it gives me the encouragement to improve my skills!
Also thanks to those who have sent me gifts. I love having a sim item from someone because it reminds me of them and it sure lasts longer then a card!
