My finale twist in the plot

Because my game decided to glitch and I had to delete the progressed Brewster family, I had two options. A) play the legacy over starting with Brianna and Dominic in Starlight Shores or B) create a new sim and come up with a new story surrounding that sim. I decided to go with A. So instead of Brianna and Dominic playing in Appalousa Plains, they are in Starlight Shores. Instead of having 1 daughter, Dawn Marie, they had twins, Winter and Dawn Marie. Instead of neglecting their child for their pets and careers, they invested time in raising up their children. Instead of their lives being cut short by a deadly housefire, they get to live and move on as a family. I think this new twist will make a more interesting read.

Garrick wasted no time finding a replacement wife and starting a new family because he's nearing his elder years. Just before Dmitri's transition to childhood, he met, married, and impregnanted Hope, one of the firefighter that attempted to save Dawn Marie and Dominic just a few days prior. So now he has a new daughter, Winter, and another one is on the way because Hope is pregnant again. Hope instantly quit her job as a firefighter because of Garrick's fear of fire. So now it's so weird.
A unexpected twist in my game

The craziest thing happened in my game. And it's all thanks to Dominic, my handy sim. He upgraded a fireplace in my sims' new home to auto-light whenever someone entered the room. Unfortunately, the fireplace caught on fire a total of 5 times during the course of 10 sim hours, eventually killing both the grandpa, Dominic, and his only daughter, Dawn Marie. Dawn Marie had just married Garrick, and had their first son, Dmitri, but now Garrick has to raise Dmitri alone in the house where his wife and father-in-law just died recently.

Really excited about this new patch! Now we can get some of the social networking features prior to the game releasing next Tuesday. This motivates me even more to play because I want to see these new options along with the option to customize our sims' work clothes before the game comes out. Now I did wish this patch fixed some of the bugs from the previous games but usually a patch releases the same day as the game, so hopefully that will be true today as well. My birthday is the same day as the game release, but I doubt I'll be able to do more than just INSTALL the game that day, unless I skip taking the bus to school and drive myself, or I skip school all together (even though it's college, I still can't afford to miss a day's worth of material). Either way, I'm excited about this patch.

I really wanted to upload Part 2 to "As Told by Dawn" (inspired by the hit Nick tween cartoon show, As Told by Ginger) however my car decided it didn't want to start after attending my weekly night class at school so by the time my dad came to rescue me, we attempted (and failed) to get the car to jump, we got home, and I told the whole story to my mom. It was 11:30, and definitely time for me to go to bed :( Then I woke up this morning at 7:15, got dressed and ready, rode with my Dad to take my little brother to school, had to call Geico in the car to get a tow truck to meet us at the parking structure of my school, tow the car to the nearest Honda Dealer, eat breakfast at Denny's with my Dad and get to school, I haven't touched the sims or even been the launcher to have the screenshots uploaded to my studio at all. I'm disappointed because I had a lot of good things to upload, such as the bulgary, Dawn aging up to an adult, Brianna and dominic becoming elders, more job promotions, the wedding party, the bachlor and bachelorette parties, Dawn going to graduation, and of course her wild teen party when her parents went on vacation. All the norms of the sims 3 generations. Plus I have photos of the new litter of kittens, and all the cat stuff that's taking over my sims' 1 bed, 1 bath house.
I'm kind of worried about how I will be able to afford my pre-ordered The Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry edition when my car broke down last night and needs an unknown amount of repairs. I'm hoping when the dealership calls me in a couple of hours (no later than 1:15), that they say it's just the starter acting up again (it's still under warranty) and I will be able to get that replaced for cheap.
