Snow, snow & more snow! XD

Well it's the first of February and it has been snowing all day and so far it doesn't appear like it's ever going to stop! I guess we are paying for all those mild winters we've had for the last few years, but it's left us spoiled and not wanting to deal with all this cold and snowy weather. All I know is I cannot wait for Spring and hope the weather warms up a little bit and the snow finally goes away!
I recently got an ipad and am enjoying the heck out of it, since I find it hard to come up to loft where my computer is it's very convenient to check stuff out from the ipad without having to move from the couch! I've also down loaded some free books and games, yes even the Sims Free-Play. Will I ever break free of my Sims addiction? Probably not, but I have to say since I've been forced to take a long break from my TS3 simming I have to say I've really not missed it to much. Guess real life has kept me so busy I really haven't had the time to miss anything. Although I have to say fiddling around a little bit with the sims free-play today I had a moment where I missed playing TS3. I just don't have the energy to deal with the game and all it's quirks, so I'm playing some games on Ro's xbox & now on the ipad.
OMG I have the news on and they were giving snow totals for our area at this time and we've gotten over 6 inches of snow and it's still snowing, moaaan! Thank goodness Ro and I did all our errands on Friday so we are set to just stay home for the weekend. I can hear them plowing the streets and driveways again! This will be the second time they've come out to clean the snow, guess it's easier to try and keep up with snow than trying to clean it up all at once. Of course the weathermen are saying we will be getting more snow during the coming week. I know it's kind of weird to be talking about the weather so much, but if you have to go out and drive in it everyday of the week, you get a little obsessed with how long you're going to be stuck driving somewhere, especially if a 45 min. drive ends up taking an hour 'n half. :(
