Moving on

Jeb got abducted when I wasn't looking. I decided to go ahead and let him raise the baby himself this time - a little girl - and he and Trinity had another daughter together at about the same time. I'm really not into the alien thing, so I just got bored and left them there.
Now I'm playing an old favorite family from TS2 - the Sparrows! Quentin, as before, is played by someone else's version of Johnny Depp (found at MTS). I tweaked him a little and gave him Amanda, his wife, who was and is played by Angelina Jolie, also found at MTS and also tweaked a bit. I did try to start them from scratch again on a legacy lot, but we "found" the Perfect Garden lot and all the goodies in the treasure chests, so we had a cool half-mil and a big, new house before I could stop myself. Huge house with huge rooms. I need space to photograph my simmies in action. :)
They each have the Family lifetime wish to raise 5 kids to teenagers, and it's going pretty well. We've got teen twins, kid twins, and another one or two on the way.
Here's the really cool part - I've also been adding TS3 versions of other families I loved in TS2. One of my favorite couples ever were Bud and Nati Willie. Bud was a descendant of Moonshine Willie, who is not in the game yet. They were backwoods people, down to earth and tons of fun. I wrote stories about this family for several generations, back when it was EASY to write a story and illustrate it straight from the GAME. Anyway, I put Bud in a house with his brother, Cab. Then I put Natalie Pete in a house with her sister, Jude (short for Judicious). And I left them to their own devices, because I'm playing the Sparrows until they can fulfill their lifetime goals.
So, Quentin was painting a portrait of Joey when I got a pop-up saying that Bud and Nati had hooked up on their own! I was so excited I had to stop everything and go find them. I guess now I'll have to put in the rest of the Moonshine Gang and move Mollie Boggles and Aiden Wolff into town.
I hadn't played this game in years, preferring building and CAW to the game, but now I'm kind of into it again. For now. They say CAW is up and running again, but I think I'll wait and see what happens with the regulars before I jump back into that.
