What the heck is wrong with this site?? I had trouble this morning, but finally managed to get on my page...but OMG I just got home and I have been trying for the last 15 min. to access my page and all I was getting was gibberish! Gosh not even the Liam error page popped up. I don\'t know if it\'s because they are getting ready for the new SP coming out which always brings with it the next...gulp PATCH . If this is an early indication of things to come on Tuesday....be afraid, be very afraid, cries.

Nightmare, Pic's n' Romantic Ways, Pondering

Nightmares...
Nightmares are rare with me, in fact I don\'t remember most of my dreams and at times wonder if I dream at all. So to my surprise I woke with a start in the middle of the night because of a nightmare. Oddly enough it was about Zombies...giggles and no not my Sims. As with most dreams or nightmares they are a reflection of things going on in your life. I didn\'t think I would be able to go back to sleep, but I\'ve had trouble sleeping all week and must have been really tired because I finally drifted off to a blissfully dreamless sleep.
Pics n\' Romantic ways...
Pictures can be used in so many ways; to convey the emotions for a story, to catch a memory so you can later reminisce. I often wondered if there was an unspoken story that might be hidden behind the pic. Maybe it\'s the hopeless romantic in me, but isn\'t that what visual art is all about? Most pics can of course pull a simple reaction of a smile or frown, but others will make me take pause and ponder ...what was the artist or photographer trying to convey? What were they thinking? Or am I going on again in my hopeless romantic way...
Pondering...
So here are my ponderings for the day...is it sepia effect or is that the sun setting? What town are you in...is that the cabin under the bridge? What happened to your pinkies? ...glitches under way... Why do you look so sad? Are things not going your way? Can\'t help but notice the stray hairs look like empty brackets, blows a kiss to fill the empty spot and send you on your way...

Ghosts, glitches and opportunities

So I am stillll playing the game with my SS that is a ghost and cannot seem to get the ghost opportunity to come up so I can control her. I\'ve played my game this week, but as usual it crashes for no known reason and even though I try to remember to save often, it still catches me by surprise and I lose progress. So it\'s one step forward two baby steps backward. It\'s funny when the game seems to run longer ( more than an hour ) all of a sudden I find myself getting too sleepy to play.
Thought I\'d post a pic of the meteor that killed my Simself!
I can\'t remember all of Alan\'s traits, but I think he\'s a coward so he faints a lot and is afraid of the dark ...but I do remember he has the hidden pyro trait..
Silly Alan...anyway that was all in the really glitched game that I deleted I restarted the game with Venus who is my SS but has different color hair and eyes. I placed Venus in her own home and then realized maybe if I had used a male Sim he could have romanced my ghost and married her, I don\'t know if that\'s possible, but I wasn\'t going to go romancing myself... . So I had her move in with Matthew Hamming so he could romance my ghost SS . I had them mourn for me thinking it might help make my ghost appear more quickly.
It took a couple of days, but my SS ghost showed up and I had Matthew get to know her and try to impress her with his skills. Isn\'t Matt cute here...oh yeah what a smexy look and that flirty arched eyebrow...
Then I was moving the camera around and saw this!!!
Oh woah what ... who is that!!! Who switched out Matt with this neanderthal! LOL could his brow protrude any further! To think I thought they might make some cute babies, LOL! This game really must be cursed, but wonder if it\'s the game or my video card...sigh.
Here they are getting to know each other while they watch TV.
Matt was able to ask my SS ghost to be his girlfriend and then I guess the game glitched out again, because my SS ghost never left. She stayed around and made a mess actually ... she left dishes everywhere and broke the plumbing. I never got any other options to show up for them to get engaged or married and they couldn\'t try for a baby it was grayed out saying there were too many people living in the household, ok yeah there are only 2 Sims and one ghost living in the house.
Cooking...
Eating...
Sleeping...
Playing the bass...
Then I thought they all needed to pack up Matt\'s celebrity trailer and go on a fishing trip...
I really like this trailer, my SS ghost went to sleep in it and then must have woke up and wandered back home when I wasn\'t watching because when they went to pack up to go home she was nowhere to be found and didn\'t show up at the house for a couple of Sim weeks. Oh and here one last glitch picture...

Reached 2000 posts on the forum... I didn\'t even notice it, until someone pointed it out and I had passed it by 2 posts, too bad cuz I would have at least had to celebrate by clapping twice and twirling around in my chair 4 times clockwise. Not sure if having 2000 posts is really a good or bad thing, but it\'s more than some and less than a lot of others.
I go through periods of just lurking, could be my shyness creeping in, but sometimes I am astounded at all the drama and meanspirited posts which render me speechless at times. Since most of my posts rarely get acknowledged it seems pointless to post, I also kill threads...yeah I know it\'s a gift, gigglesnort.
Played my game last night, still trying to get the ghost opportunity so I can control my Simself who was killed by a meteor strike. It just seems like this game is cursed and I will never ever get that stupid opportunity to come up! I changed Matthew Hammings traits, got rid of perfectionist and commitment issues and replaced them with evil and natural cook (the natural cook is to match my SS I was hoping it would help to have more in common, yes desperation makes you think/do all kinds of stuff). It\'s only been a couple of Sim weeks and I am turning down most of the other opportunities and still nothing... Well I\'m off to play my game and see if it will cooperate and give me that opportunity!

This morning it was -5 with a -15 windchill, it\'s a balmy 5 degrees now and the wind died down so we don\'t have a windchill factor. Tonight it\'s supposed to warm up even more, a whopping 8 degrees, but the wind is going to pick up again so we will have a windchill of -3 tonight. It\'s January so this is when we get the really cold weather, at least we don\'t have any snow in the forecast.
I\'ve been drinking hot tea all day and keeping warm. Checked out the forum this morning and when I was finished there I was planning to play my game, but I got distracted and started doing some other things around the house. So after dinner I\'m hoping I\'ll get a chance to play my game. I\'m still trying to get the Ghost opportunity so I can control my Simself ghost.

So I tried to get on earlier and couldn\'t access my page, was Liam\'d so many times I lost track and gave up, feels all warm \'n fuzzy...
So strangely enough I was able to post on the forum with only a few errors.
Just wish they would put back the comments! The longer it takes, it makes me think they aren\'t going to give it back. Is it me or is that Medieval ad getting bigger, well longer. I could have sworn it was half the length it is now. Is that what they have been working on all this time???
I\'m stilllll trying to get a control of my Simself ghost who was flattened by that meteor. I\'m closer, but can\'t seem to get the \"Oh My Ghost\" opportunity. Even though I deleted that really glitchy game and started over, I have some odd things going on in the new game. Have to move some pics over, but don\'t have the time to do that right now...gotta run out right now! Will try to get back later.

Woke up really early today, so I decided I might check out the forum and kept getting Liam\'d...so I gave up and made some coffee. That was around 5 a.m., it\'s almost 9:30 a.m. and I came back to change some things on my page and that took forever because this site is still acting wonky.
Gee we still don\'t have comments, I sure hope if they ever get that feature running again, that it works OK, it\'s been down long enough for them to make this whole site work properly.
Tried the forum again and keep getting the no privileges error, etc. etc...I don\'t have the stamina for this today. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for this site, meantime I think I\'ll have some more coffee!

I\'ve been thinking I should change my New Year siggy. Snow, snow, snow and more snow!

It\'s been snowing all day! Well actually it\'s been snowing since I went to bed last night a little after midnight. It slowed up around noon and I thought OK it\'s gonna stop soon, then it picked up again around 1:30 p.m.. It\'s after 6:00 p.m. and it\'s still snowing. I guess the weathermen were wrong, they said we would only get a little snow, LOL. At least we aren\'t going to get as much as the east coast will when this storm front reaches them, they are saying one to two feet of snow for them! So I guess I shouldn\'t complain about our measly inches.

So I finally moved over the photos from my glitchy game where all the Sims are starving themselves on the Plumbob picture lot! This was the game that my Simself got killed by a meteor. Then all the other Sims seemed to go wacky!
The Beginning...Sims start to arrive at the lot:
They keep arriving...even some foreign visitors arrive.
Although the WA visitors never stay long and caused a line of Taxi\'s to form in front of the lot as they rush to catch their flights out of this glitched town...
Crazy Sims, they leave for awhile, but return after a few and their needs still low, they are beginning to smell as so many of them have...ahem accidents, so I try to resolve some of these issues by opening the cheat window and installing some bathrooms, shower, fridge and a grill. I have my Sim cook a meal, but they walk over and pick a plate up only to put it back down on the counter!? Some of them manage to use the bathrooms, but no one seems to use the shower. I have my Sim try to talk to some of them, but most of them don\'t respond...only a few that she is friends with will talk to her. The day wears on and we see night fall and still they just stand around...
I finally did a head count and the highest head count was 55 plus my Sim, 56 on this lot. No wonder my game keeps crashing...
Sunrise finds them all still just standing around or passed out on the ground.
My Sim needed to buy a drink from one of the clubs to fulfill an opportunity and no surprise no one around, no mixologists, bouncers or sims and it took about a Sim hour before a mixologist showed up and only stayed long enough to make my Sim a drink and then leave to go back to the Picture Lot.
Even the ghosts from the graveyard are showing up on the lot and I\'m surprised to see children are also showing up on the lot...
Another new day...
...Then that night Sims start dropping like flies...
Oh and those puddles on the ground aren\'t water...
I\'m sure you are aware that when a Sim dies they go into the fetal position, the Sims laying on their backs are just passed out.
Yes, yes there are so many Sims dying that Grim keeps freaking out and can barely keep up...
The dead are laying all over this lot!
My Sim is getting so upset as she sees her friends dying...
Another new day and the survivors are still standing...but for how long??
More and more Sims are passing out as their needs are depleted...
...then someone dies.
...and Grim returns.
...they keep passing out
Violet dies again, she has the unlucky trait so Grim keeps bringing her back for his amusement. So she dies like three times, but keeps coming back.
More death...
I finally sent my Sim home because her plumbob turned red from all this sadness even though her needs were all high. I could see this lot from her house, she lives just up the street in one of those small homes. When I moved the camera view over to get a closer look they were all still there on the lot and then my game crashed. I decided I was tired of my game crashing and although it would have been interesting to see this ghost town, it was tiring to have to restart this over and over. So I went back in to save the household to the library and deleted the game and started over. Hopefully I\'ll be able to get the \"Oh My Ghost Opportunity\" so I can make my Simself a controllable ghost.

Second day of the new year and so far so good, LOL! I forgot to make a blog entry for the first day of the new year, but second day is just as good.
After running around all day yesterday, I was able to finally settle in and play my game in the evening. I\'m trying to bring back my Simself as a ghost in a game I was flattened by a Meteor Shower (my first).
This game is really glitchy, it started to lag after my Simself was killed. Then it would crash for reasons unknown. Then I remembered from the forum that the food truck and other cars that were stuck on the street would cause a lagging problem. So lo and behold I found cars and trucks stuck in the street and began deleting them. So the game stopped lagging so much.
However now the townspeople are gathering on the Plumbob picture lot and they have been there for days and are all starting to die. I sent my Sim down there a few times and even though some of them go home they all return after a few minutes. They have all started dying! My Sim had nine mourning queues and I thought eight was the max they could have in queue. So this game is getting really weird. I took pic\'s, but need to move them over and will post them later. Gahhh I have to go out in a few.
