So I was just on the forums and saw a post in GD by someone ranting that NRaas made their game crash.
I gotta call serious BS on that one!
Later it was revealed that the brainiac in question installed a mod that was incompatible with their patch level. Now, I don't mean to sound like brainwashed cult-member (if it happens, it happens) but Twallan is the only reason why I and scores of other simmers are still able to play and actually ENJOY the game. I have a motto: "When Twallan stops modding, I stop buying."
For the poster in question to take time out of their "busy" schedule to call Twallan out on something that was their own ignorant fault is the height of stupidity AND disrespect. He and modders like him spend their time and energy creating fixes for EA's broken game and then generously--amazingly--share them with all of us. I can see why so many creators just give up on the Sims 3 community and fade away--there can be such a sense of entitlement and ingratitude on the part of some simmers. It only takes one drop to poison a well.
My advice to the Chicken Little on the forums (and others like them) is to engage your BRAIN before your FINGERS when posting nonsense like this.
