I\u2019ve always had an odd way of seeing EA when it comes to sims. I\u2019ve always thought, they\u2019ve got the best idea ever for a game, but they don\u2019t take it to the limit! Actually they just take it to the point where it sells \u2013 not one step further! They\u2019ve always just made the skeleton of the game, and I really need all you guys out there to invent, write and play your way through the most awesome in this game, to all the things that make it worth playing. Without modders and creators out there all over the world this game would be crap! I am so thankful to all of you for what you are doing, and I love your work so much, it\u2019s made me an addict. Sadly that is almost everything this game does. When you\u2019ve first discovered what possibilities the modders and creators out here gives you, it\u2019s impossible to stop as they take this game to a whole other level of gaming. They make it \u201Cour\u201D game rather than EA\u2019s \u2026

So EA might have used years on this game trying to get everything right, but if they\u2019d got modders like Delphi, HystericalParoxysm, MaryLou & Numenor, SolaceInSound, SussieSoGoodSims, Jonha, Rainbow Brite, Treeag and Lostaccount not to mention those at MoreAwesomeThanYou COMBINED with ex some of my fave sims creators in here: AbstractFairytales and Parsimoniouskate (more ofc, but haven\u2019t got room for all ;) ), and then again with some of all those guys I can\u2019t even start writing about who makes amazing buildings. If they\u2019ve got all of these awesome guys and then Erpe and Bruut to help them ;P with their knowledge and imagination, the game would have been so much better, and people like me wouldn\u2019t have to go as crazy as I am now to get an interesting, functioning game.

So my point of today is that this addiction to downloads to this game could be helped a lot if EA would come up with a patch where they separated clothing and hair in smaller bites like in the previous games. Moreover they really need to pull them selves together when making sims 4 \u2026

Oh ye, I need to say, they\u2019ve actually done a great job on WA! I love it and even after this many hours of adventures, I still haven\u2019t tried out everything. Normally I grow tired of a new expansion in a couple of weeks, but this one is awesome! It does however make a new urge to go get more downloads. I want more Chinese people, cause they\u2019re cute, I want more for the French cuisine, and I kinda want replacements for all those very ugly in-game Egypt sims \u2026 I\u2019ve seen so many amazing things out there already, and I\u2019ve downloaded a lot of them. But guys, don\u2019t ever stop doing this!! You\u2019re good at it, and I love you all!! :D

\u2026 Well to make my point of this even clearer, my sims 3 just crashed my computer while I was saving this document in word (wouldn\u2019t write it in here directly due to exactly this) \u2026 So there went 1\u00BD site \u2026 I\u2019ll start again \u2026

There we go. Okay, I\u2019ve been asked to write in English in here, so I will.

The main problem I would like to discuss today is addiction. Addiction to downloads!

I\u2019ve had more problems since my last blog. This time it\u2019s not because I\u2019ve deleted some files by stupid mistakes, and even though my game is still randomly deleting my games, that is not the main problem today either. My game is so very very slow! I\u2019ve had it loading for more than an hour to get into my neighborhood and it was still under 10% when I gave up. I have been forced to go through every reason I could get, and I finally found out, what was wrong: You! Ye, you guys and all your fantastic work with the game making stuff I simply can\u2019t play without \u2026 So now I can\u2019t play at all. Oh well you think I have many then, right? Well I\u2019m still not over 20.000. OMG that\u2019s like insane, you might say, but no, not really.

     In sims 1 I had half a million downloads before the game started getting a little slow.

     In sims 2 I had 2 million downloads and game still running fine.

     Then how come I can\u2019t even have 20.000 in sims 3?

Let\u2019s take a look at the facts here:

     In sims 1 you could only get the game to load one piece of clothes and one piece of hair at the time.

     In sims 2 they\u2019ve made the amount 9 at the time.

     In sims 3 they suddenly went crazy and now we have to wait for the game to load every single piece of clothes or hair at once! That\u2019s taking crazy amounts of computer power, and even though I prepared for sims 3 by buying a new computer powering it up with at least 3 times the power the game should need reading on the box. But my game still freaks out, takes seriously amounts of time to try loading before I lose my temper and cut it off. I can\u2019t have skype, msn, internet, not even a word document up running while being in the sims or even in the game launcher. When my computer got a brainfreeze as it often gets while trying to run sims 3, I had used about 1\u00BD hour trying to load up things in the \u201Csims\u201D pane in the \u201Cinstalled\u201D in the launcher to try cleaning out a bit. I thought, well I can open up word and write this blog, that\u2019s not taking that much of the com \u2026 I was only 1\u00BD page in, when it crashed \u2026

Then you laugh at me and just tell me to get rid of them all and just download from start again, so I won\u2019t have that many and can only download the old ones, that I use \u2026 Well I adore the mods from modthesims, I can\u2019t make a sim without having OSSA or Liana clothes for them, I couldn\u2019t dream of cursing a sim with maxis hair, so I need to have every hair download from Peggy. More over I need building-stuff like half walls, other windows and doors, I need my patterns from in here, and those ugly sims maxis made? No way I\u2019m letting any more of those out in the game! I download pretty sims from in here and make the whole town out of those. I use hours on building and furnishing my houses, so I need furniture \u2013 stylist sims and tsr mostly \u2013 and since I\u2019m known mostly by sims-friends for over stuffing my houses, I simply can\u2019t have a house as ugly and clean as the maxis ones \u2026 I need drapes, sculptures, flowers, little stuff like perfume, hand sope and towels. I like architecture, I love furnishing, and I would hate only doing it with the basic stuff from maxis. I just went OMG THE HOUSES ARE ALL THE SAME in the start. In every single house I made I used the same paintings, same mirrors, sculptures and everything \u2026 it was horrible to watch all of those sims whose life I fought to make different just looking the same as everyone else\u2019s in the town \u2026 Oh and my worst experience was to have a kleptomaniac going from house to house looking for something to steal \u2026 I even went to the big manors in sunset valley thinking here would look so awesome that I will not know what to steal \u2026 And what do I see? Same lousy style as the other houses \u2026 just more rooms \u2026 I wanted to sit down and cry after that. I\u2019ve been planning on refurnishing some of these houses and taking pictures so you guys out here could se how beautiful and potential those rooms could be, and I long to take in all sims in town and give them a make-over \u2026 It\u2019s a horrible horrible city they\u2019ve made, and without my downloads it\u2019s really not worth playing.

So perhaps 20.000 downloads is many to you, but being used to 2 millions in sims 2 \u2026 this just sucks \u2026
